Yesterday I went in there & ordered their quesabirria tacos (3) with consume & I also purchased a steak loco burrito for my mom.... Everything was definitely fresh and delicious I would have given them a 5 star review HOWEVER, the food has me AND my mom sickwith food poisoning. Let me preface this with the 3-stars is for the service. The petite gal helping me was so unfriendly & I wanted to hurry up &... get out of her line to check out. The food on the other hand is between a 4-5. It?s fresh & authentic. Have I had better?Yes but the flavors, portion sizes & taste was a good. We are visiting from out of town, read the reviews about this place &completely agree with the other patrons on food except the unfriendly service. We ordered 3-taco meal , one was carne asada &the other pork & chicken. Chips & dip & a cerveza. Meal was around $44, not bad for portion sizes & drinks. Decor was verynice & the restaurant was clean. I would try this place out if your looking for decent Mexican food, but don?t expect friendlyservice. The food is Fresh and DELICIOUS! I bought Sweet Deals certificates just to try something new, otherwise I would've never known... about this place. It's way in the boonies compared to where I live. It's definitely worth the drive. A bit pricey, but worth it. Read more
This place was a very nice surprise! It kinda looks like a chain, decor wise and the way it?s laid out inside but it appears... that is isn?t. ???? It?s more of a fast casual type place than a full service restaurant. Admittedly, I wasn?t expecting aorder at the front type place. Not a negative, just not what I had anticipated. The ladies working at the front were veryhelpful and friendly when I was giving my order and had questions. The highlight for me by far was the quesa Birria tacos! Theywere sooooo good!! Fresh, crispy shell, lovely Birria sauce. I really am impressed! The guac was also good! Salsa was ok, notmy favorite. The kids liked their nachos and quesadilla. The margaritas are served in plastic cups which was a first for melol. Not my fav marg flavor wise but decent for the price. I?d say give it a try if in the area. When this place first opened I don't know if I would have recommended it to anyone however, they have gotten a lot better. Now... it's in my rotation for tacos and a beer before heading home in the evening. Neat, clean, food is prepped ahead of time so it'skind of a build your own place so it's not exactly "fresh" as a sit down restaurant but it a great little stop if you are onthis side of town. Food was good and priced well for portion. EDIT: We have been back several times since our first visit over a year ago and the... quality, quantity, and service has never disappointed. The amount of toppings and variety of menu items goes far beyond thetypical burrito, taco, nacho, and quesadillas you see at a taco truck. Also they now serve $5 margaritas that are worth everypenny. Cute clean atmosphere! The two employees that were at the front putting our nachos together were very nice and accommodating.... This was our first time here and we didn?t expect the ?chipotle? style ordering but their menu includes more than just thethings you see up front. As a native Texan, I?ve got a high standard when it comes to Mexican food. Most places around here remind me way too much of... Taco Bell. This restaurant is a notable and most welcome exception! The spice game is on point, the meats are flavorful andtender, and they have the exact right level of heat. I absolutely recommend it, try the bowls with barbacoa and/or pastor! Read more
