Love this place. Officially my 3rd time here. My go-to order is: quesadilla, Pecos, and Guadalupe. My wife is quesadilla,... Brisket, and Frio. We both like the spicy paloma for a drink (frozen or not) but the margarita is too sweet for our taste. Thestaff are amazing. They are super friendly, including Davey who had a brief chat with us. HomeState has opened its newest location on what is fast becoming restaurant row in Sherman Oaks. I'm not the world's biggest taco fan but these were really good tacos. Starting with the fresh housemaid tortillas, there's a... wide selection of breakfast tacos (eggs, cheddar and bacon was delish) and all day tacos including the excellent brisket. We've been excitedly waiting for this location to open after living so close to the one in Los Feliz. The location is beautiful,... bright, and clean with a large outdoor space. Plenty of parking between street and a valet lot right outside. The food wasdelicious and amazing, like always, and as a vegetarian who makes modifications, I love that they always get my order right andclearly marked. The staff was friendly, brought a water bowl for our dog, and attentive. I could see a few were probably stilltraining since they recently opened, but love to see new employees getting support to succeed. Can't wait to go back before thisplace gets as busy as the others! Yes! They?ve finally opened a HomeState in the Valley. This location is large with a spacious outdoor patio facing Ventura Blvd.... Same great menu as the other locations. Parking seems it can be an issue. They have a tiny parking lot currently with anattendant. Not sure how long they?ll keep the attendant after the initial opening phase. Street parking may also be an issue onVentura Blvd. Read more
Can?t gush about this place enough. I have yet to be disappointed by anything I?ve ordered. The food is delicious and the staff... is exceptional. By far, it is my favorite breakfast taco place in LA. And if you want to treat yourself, get a chocolate chipcookie. So so good!!! Read more
