Nothing special or "gourmet" about this place. Just consistently solid Tex-Mex. One the only places I know of that you can still... get a real cheese and onion enchilada. The salsa is mild/medium, but still has very good flavor. If they had draft beer(bottles only), I would go more often than I do. My wife is a fan of the frozen strawberry margaritas. Read more

Been dining here my entire life. I absolutely love the chips & salsa. The quesadilla with fajita chicken has been a go-to for... many years. Be sure to order some Queso with it, so you can dunk your quesadilla in it. They offer a similar lunch and dinnermenu, just different size portions. Amazing Tex-mex! Every time I come back into town, I order a giant tub of salsa and bag ofchips togo, so I can bring a little bit of La Mesa home with me. The service is always great.
