I was gonna give four stars for the good bbq and great ambiance. (BTW: I love the ceiling!), but the friendly and professional... service by Cass and Chad got that extra star added! Their pleasant and friendly service gave it a feeling of ?family?. Eventhe customers were talking to each other. I had the 2 meat half-pound plate with brisket and jalapeño sausage with black eyedpeas and boiled cabbage. Very good bbq with various options of bbq sauce. Best BBQ in Sherman! Always satisfied after this meal. Love the vibe, too. Chopped beef sandwich & baked potato can?t be beat.

Stopped in at this little place on our way back to Dallas. The service was excellent. The food was piping hot. Good prices for... all that we got, 8 ribs, 2 jalapeno sausages, corn spread and green beans all for $25. We even got a little taste of theblackeyed peas!!! Recommended for all you road trippers. Delicious pecan cobblerish pie. Pulled pork was plentiful, the bbq beans do not have meat in them?very good flavor! Slaw is... sweet & creamy. My favorite is the Mississippi mud potatoes! An exceptional place for great food and great service. Family owned and award winning it's easy to see why it's so great. Food... was fresh prepared and excellent quality. All the meats were smoked to perfection and sides were very flavorful. Service waslike being at a friend's house. Reasonable prices and a drive thru too. Get there early cause it fills up. Great pulled pork, pork ribs & jalapeno sausage. BBQ sauce selection was great. The hot BBQ sauce had a good spice level... without overpowering the meat taste. Wife said the baked potato was great, not sure if it was smoked. Christian was veryhelpful and suggested extras that hit the spot. The fire & ice pickle were FIRE! Thanks we will be back. Read more
