Tumbleweed isn't going to win any culinary awards, but for a good value tex-mex meal it's fine. Was concerned about all the bad... reviews, but we didn't have any problems. Service was good. Kitchen was slow, but that is to be expected these days. Plus thatjust gave us more time for $2 Margarita Monday. Convenient location for out of town guests staying in the hotels next door. Went to have lunch by myself. Donna was my server. (She?s usually in the kitchen but I was lucky to have her as my server). ... She was very sweet and treated me as a friend she had known forever. She kept a check on me and making sure my water alwaysstayed filled and making sure I didn?t need anything. I really enjoyed my lunch and talking with her. She made my day! Ihope I get her next time. UPDATE: prices have gone up SIGNIFICANTLY. WE WON'T BE BACK. Are the owners ever gonna do anything to improve the Brooks... location? They have 1 waitress and no CO2. 10-1-22 about 2pm: John our server was amazing. Everything we had was ok but that's about it. Tried queso and was lukewarm. Had... the combo fajitas and they were ok. Seemed a bit skimpy on the meat from most places it seemed. Felt like a lunch portion ofcombo fajitas. The peanut butter dessert was pretty good. Service was great and food was ok so, ya. I normally never leave reviews but this place was an exception. First of all, when we walked in it smelled awful. We were seated... in a booth that had water dripping from the ceiling. And then we got our food and my rice had a fly in it. Management was verygood about correctly the food ordeal, which I?m grateful for. And the server was super sweet. It has been about 15 years since I have been to a Tumbleweed. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this one was! Our food... was really good and prepared correctly. We were seated promptly. Our server was wonderful although a bit overworked. She was alittle slow because she seemed to be taking care of A LOT! The manager didn't seem to be helping her much which wasdisappointing to see, hence why I only gave it 4 stars. We probably would have been in and out faster had our server gotten someassistance. Stayed close and this is where the desk sent us. Food was good, service was good, and it was quiet so we could enjoy our meal.

I ordered steak medium rare,it came back burnt. The waitress said,it wasn't correct. When I got another one ,it was full of... gristle. Very bad customer service. They have a lot of traffic coming and going without food like a drug dealer. Read more
