Food was great a little pricey for me but it was a treat with my uncle and friend. Crysta our waitress was awesome such a sweet... sweet girl very friendly made sure we were taken care of and was just a delight if I could give her a raise I would she was inlesser words top notch server for sure. Absolutely loved it. They were accommodating to all my preferences. Menu was full of exiting items it was hard to choose. I even... got jumbo lump crab added to my baked potato and that was just to die for. We got the pasta de Mare with cream sauce substituteand he got the crawfish ettouffee. Had the shrimp and catfish Cajun-style plate, the catfish was great. If I'm ever in the area again I'd stop here and have dinner... again. Also not to mention, the service was great. Even though my group of 12 was a handful. Thank you once again. Read more
I had the BABIN’S MIXED GRILL, the fish was amazing, the shrimp was good. I didn't care for the stuffed shrimp and crab a... little sweet for me. Baked potato was really good. The scallops were not cooked right. Would of been a 3 but had the beignetsfor dessert and they were the best!!!!!! This was my first time, will try something different next time. Food was great, and Cajun with the exception of the file gumbo. Hardly any Roux more like a cup of water with browning... seasoning. I could see the file sprinkled on the rim but flavor was not there at all. However, overall the gumbo still tastedgreat. The portions were tiny as you can see in photo. I exchanged fries for asparagus which added $4.99. No flavor onasparagus but perfectly cooked (slightly crisp, and no fibrous parts). $7.99 for tiny cup of gumbo $3.30 for tea $26.99 forseafood platter (more like sampler) 4 Oysters but the size of first segment of pinky. I agree that smaller tasty oysters aregood but should double the quantity. Read more
I thought the Babins in Katy was good, this one is fantastic! Service was outstanding. We were constantly checked on the manager... even let us know that our food was talking a little longer than expected and asked if we would like an appetizer on the house, Ithough the timing was fine and I’m impatient lol. Just goes to show the standards this place has which is top of the line. Isuggest to Leave your sever here a 25% tip minimum. Good service like this is a rare commodity. Read more
