Shelter Island House is a wonderful establishment. The resort was conveniently located. Sunset Beach just minutes away walking... distance. The resort's grounds very welcoming. The pool area was very relaxing. We also enjoyed the outdoor setting areas,especially with a nice glass of wine! Our room was clean and very comfortable. However, I should say the back outdoor lightskept me up a good part of the night. Maybe the next time I would bring eye mask covers. On the other hand, the staff was veryattentive, accommodating, and friendly. The breakfast was light but pleasant. My husband and I would definitely return. Read more

I really only went to the restaurant, 18 Bay. Did not check out the rooms. 18 Bay is STILL my favorite place to dine!
