Wonderful and gracious hosts?make you feel like a guest in their home. Accommodations were outstanding?comfortable and warming... environment. The woodwork in the main house has all been very well preserved?lots of character and charm. The breakfasts werehearty and delicious?plenty of choices for all types of eaters including gluten free and vegetarian options. Best blueberrypancakes I?ve ever had! We loved our experience here! The owners, Rose & Anatoly, are so kind, welcoming and honest. The rooms are clean, comfortable... and spacious. The location is very close to Burlington, as well as other sights. And most importantly, the food was delicious.And super generous with the portion size! I had a fantastic time at Heart of the Village Inn! The hosts are warm and welcoming even when I am Deaf, and they told some... hidden gems around Vermont. We stayed in the Carriage House because there are no steps to maneuver to get to our choice of the Bostwick room. Spacious and... clean. Bed was firmer than mine at home but still comfortable. We could hear the guests upstairs but it was no big deal.Breakfast is made to order and was DELICIOUS! We like chatting with the other guests but these were tables for two perhaps setup that way because of COVID? In any case the breakfast is wonderful and the hosts are friendly and accommodating. We would without any doubt recommend a stay at Heart of the Village Inn. Great hosts, great place to stay and a great location.... We had a great time there for 4 nights, and we hope to be back again someday. Don't forget to ask your hosts about where to goor what to see or do. You'll probably learn about some hidden gems like where to see a great sunset, where to eat, and where tohave a nice hike, etc. P.S. You'll enjoy your breakfasts and you definitely won't go hungry. If you're going to stay anywhere this is the place. Everything was fantastic and Rose and Anatoly are such amazing hosts. The... breakfast was exceptional, rooms were very clean and comfy, shower had great pressure and everything was so close. I willdefinitely go back. There was so much to see that a weekend wasn't enough. You absolutely have to try the pancakes, quiche andeggs. Just get everything off the menu ???? Read more

While I normally gravitate toward conventional hotels when on business-related trips, this time I was late in making my advance... reservations, and the Heart of the Village Inn in Shelburne (VT) had an available vacancy. So, I grabbed it! The inn is a gem ina gem of a village! It's a relatively small inn; a beautiful Victorian house. Very comfortable, clean and pleasant room, and thebreakfast was really wonderful. Heart of the Village Inn is operated by Rose and Anatoly, two of the nicest innkeepers you'llever meet.
