Normally I visit the essex location, but today I stopped at shelburne rd location. I ask for a very simple custom bagel with... literally 5 things on it. There was nobody else but me in there ordering she was on her phone for 5 minutes before rudely askingwhat I'd like. She then proceeded to get my entire order wrong and I watched her brush her hair back with a gloved hand mid waythrough making my sandwich! I asked for her to start over which I knew was going to be a huge deal.given the way I interruptedher texting by coming in for my breakfast. How rude of her to say. I don't have time to start over we get online orders too soI'm kinda busy... i then said im not paying for that so she started over. But I was appalled when I got to my car after paying7$ for 5 items which in essex is normally 4$ and I realized my entire thing was wrong there were capers which i didnt order andthe ends of the tomatoes with the pit in my sandwich. They must not train their staff at all. I feel bad for them. They don't even melt the cheese in your breakfast sandwich anymore.... I wouldn't work well for minimum wage either.... So I kinda get it. Higher paid, *trained workers would probably do well here. Read more
Bagels are not made on site in Shelburne and they are often out of bagels. Today they had a few bagels left at 11am, no tubs of... cream cheese and one variety of coffee. Breugger?s was far superior to this poor excuse for a bagel shop. Read more
I'm not ready to have maskless college students make my food yet since I signed up for the vaccine as soon as I was eligible and... still am not fully vaccinated. I emailed the store over a week ago to ask what their policy is on masks for their employees andnever received a response. The food is average but, the young lady who usually works on Sundays is really nice. Read more
Ordered a maple latte. Second week trying to get one. last week they didn?t have their machine up. This week I overheard the... girl say she?s never made an iced latte before. After watching her not measure the maple, run the espresso twice, I tried togive the benefit of the doubt. It was absolutely disgusting, way too sweet, zero taste of espresso. When I went back to askabout it, I was told this is how we make latte?s here. Avoid coffee from here at all costs unless you want to waste your money. Read more
I find Feldman's hard to love. Always willing to go out of my way to support local, I've come back numerous times to give it... another try. Whether it's the poor on-line ordering system that results in your order being unceremoniously canceled becausethey were out of a particular type of bagel (despite putting in alternatives in your order in case that happens), customerservice that could really use improving across the board, surprisingly high prices, consistent lack of the baked goods theyadvertise to be on offer, or mediocre espresso drinks, it's really hard to recommend Feldman's. After all, there are at leasttwo other locally owned bagel shops in the Burlington/Shelburne area that are consistently great. Hoping that post-COVID thingswill change, and if they do I'll update this review.... but I have to say, my experience dates back to well before thepandemic. I will say, the bagels are pretty good and overall their ingredients are high-quality. It's also important to maybegive the staff a pass. I've yet to see more than two people working there at a time and they often look exhausted handling theload. Read more
Do Not Go Here!! I have lived in Shelburne for 30 years and have seen this location change several times and this one is by far... the worst! The bagels are not that bad but the wait times are awful...it took 33 minutes in the store for 2 bagels with creamcheese. Save time and go to Burlington bagel 3 min farther up route 7. Read more
Big difference between Burlington and Shelburne location. Would not recommend Shelburne location based on ambiance, service and... even quality. Read more
