Reviews for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Sheffield Lake, OH

I've never been to Cracker Barrel before because it's always so busy; but we decided to try and see what all the hoopla was... about. Cracker Barrel did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious. The green beans taste exactly like mom's. Which isa big deal to me since she died a couple of months ago. The atmosphere was so warm and homey. We went to dinner around 6:30 pm. Not real busy. I had a chicken salad and sweet potato both were excellent. The salad was so... large that I couldn't finish it. Always friendly staff and the cutest gift shop. Definitely worth going, especially if you'refrom down south brings back great memories. Makes me miss my grandma's. Read more

Better experience this time. Good sever, better wait times and food wasn't overdone. They need to change the oil out more... frequently to keep the fried stuff super yummy. That was my only thought this time with the okra and the fries. It was a goodtime. We bought a super cute artic fox in the gift shop. Read more

We had a large party it was nice but most peoples food was cold I can understand trying to get everyone's out at the same time.... Other than that our waitress was wonderful and was super helpful when it came to any dietary issues on our end. Our whole family dined in. Best chicken and dumplings for us and cheeseburger sliders for the kids. The others had chicken with... the mac n cheese, collard greens. I had the hashbrown casserole and fried okra with mine..great shopping at the country storewhile waiting for our dinner to be cooked. Store items are a little pricey but worth it. Great food and good service. Plenty of parking with handicap parking and accessibility. Easy to see from road right off of... highway. Quick access to expressway. Close to cedar point always has great specials. Great shopping in area with large boxstores and small stores Mom and pops. Plenty of gas stations Bank and ATMs to choose from. Read more

Well, ordered 2 chicken boxes and a couple extra sides...the chicken pieces were very small and still had plenty of feathers in... all of them...which makes me believe it wasn't even properly cleaned before it was cooked????$39 for 2 4 pc boxes of chicken and2 extra sides and I was afraid to eat the chicken because it wasn't even properly cleaned...I was very verydisappointed...cracker barrel is usually really decent, but the last two times there are alot of questions in my mind about whyare they going downhill??? Im undecided if I'll go back to be a glutton for punishment or just keep the memories of what thequality used to be and move on... Read more

I ordered the chicken & dumplings dinner and it was just like how my dad makes it!! Very tasty. My whole family enjoyed their... meals so the food was great, however, the highlight of the dinner was the store you walk thru to get to the dining area!!! Theyhave the CUTEST little kids clothes & yard decorations & shabby chic like comforters just to name a few. They have a ton ofinteresting farm/cottage/country themes that I HAD TO look at EVERYTHING before we left! I have a baby shower to go to soon so Itook a few pics of baby girl clothes. Hence the pics. So the food was delicious, the waitress Diamond was very very sweet, butthe store stole the show for me! Read more
