Reviews for Harry’s Prohibition Bistro in Sheboygan, WI
We?ve had the pleasure of eating at Prohibition Bistro several times through the years, and the food and service is always... outstanding. They have a huge selection of appetizers, Neapolitan-style pizzas, pastas, and entrees. The atmosphere is elegantand the location has ample free parking. I never thought that some of the best Italian food I?d ever have would be in Sheboygan,Wisconsin, but it most definitely is. Read more
Great restaurant with some great views! If you sit outside and it?s cold, they have warmers turned on. The service was amazing... and the food was very tasty. It didn?t take long after placing an order for the food to come out. Read more
The bread, pesto, sun dried tomatoes, sauces, and noodles were great. The service was fast and accommodating. They have a good... selection of drinks at the bar. Our party of four was satisfied with out meal sizes and experience. The fish and chicken wereboth just slightly overcooked, but I've seen it done this way in other restaurants. Its more of a preference because meats startto taste ashy to me when cooked like that, so I typically order most meats medium when asked. My first beer was skunky, but theyquickly fixed that by not only replacing it with a different fresh selection, but comped me for the new drink as well. Theservice was outstanding. I would definitley come back again. Next time I may opt for mussels or a different pizza selection. Read more
Great vegetarian options. We especially loved the lemon wood fire pizza w/arugula. The cocktails were excellent as well.... Wonderful outdoor seating, great staff. We will definitely be back! Read more
One of our favorite spots in town for stone fired pizza. The pasta dishes and the drinks are also fantastic. The greeter tonight... was super nice and inviting. Read more
Absolutely love this place! Was in town for work. Service is amazing (shout out to Journey!), wine is cold, and food is... outstanding! I tried the Prosciutto pizza, the antipasti plate, and the Pino. Go here and enjoy patio seating next to the wateror inside seating with an eclectic ambiance. Don?t pass this place while you are in town. Read more
A great small place with delicious food. Service was slow and we felt rushed and forgotten. The atmosphere had character and... was pleasant. The only downside was the price. It is very expensive for what it is. Worth going too if in the area. Read more
Food was good. Service was good. Location was great. We ordered a pizza and it was very bready there wasn't much sauce or... cheese. We're from the Chicago area so we have experienced a lot of pizza and this was good, not great pizza. It is wood firedso that adds a different element to it. We thought that the chicken gnocchi was better than the sausage pizza. Their wineselection is quite extensive and my wife also enjoyed her 'gin and jam' cocktail. Nice place to go on a beautiful night. Enjoya walk along the riverfront or lake while you digest afterwards. Enjoy! In response to owner: I save 5 stars for restaurantswhere I loved the food and I absolutely want to come back to. 4 stars is for restaurants I liked and the food was good and Iwould probably visit again. It's just my opinion and there are plenty of people who disagree with me and have given therestaurant five stars. However, you can't treat customers who leave 4 star or less reviews like idiots. I read some of theGoogle reviews before choosing here and I noticed a pattern of rude responses to anyone who left a review below 5 stars. Not agreat way to leave a good impression with people who are possibly new to the area and restaurant. The responses comes off aspetty. I have had wood fired pizza before and yours was good, but there was too much crust for me and not much on top. Iwasn't expecting Chicago deep dish, but I was hoping for a little more on the pizza. No hard feelings. We still enjoyed ournight with you and are glad we tried it. Thanks. Read more
