Went to the bar side last night, wasn't the greatest service yet not the worst either. I had to go through 3 different... waitresses to help me out. First one was really helpful and welcoming, she had to leave which was understandable! But after thatthere was no one on the other side ready to help others and myself. Had to wait awhile to get another drink but someone on therestaurant side helped me out with that which was really appreciated! But then I had to wait awhile again to get my bill that'swhen the 3rd waitress/bartender showed up to help me out with that. Burnt salmon needed more dill sauce to cover the overpowering taste of black char. Also, I guess they forgot to place my take... out order when I called so ended up waiting an additional 25 minutes when I arrived. Something for the inconvenience would havebeen nice. Read more
Everything about this bar/lounge is as mediocre as it gets. Ordered a steak sandwich topped with mushrooms and shrimp. For the... $4 upcharge for each, one would expect slightly more of each. Despite the steak being overcooked, merit can be given to thewell-seasoned peice of strangely thin-cut beef. The wait staff was friendly, however preoccupied with serving the team of rigworkers seated at the bar. She admitted that she should have checked in on the quality and enjoyment of my meal a fair bitsooner and discounted the overcooked steak. To her credit, she was able to fix me two identically perfect paralyzers. Veggieswere freshly steamed and crunchy. The poutine was made with cheese curds in proper fashion however the fries contained withinand the onion rings topping the steak sandwich were obviously deep fried in undertemperature oil, causing them to be saturatedrather than crisped. Went in to pick up my food, was told it will be out in a minute, paid for food, sat down to wait, ended up waiting for 10... minutes before one of the waitresses could tell me that the printer wasn't working properly, offered to give me 10% off foodwhich would came out to maybe $5. Waited an additional 15 minutes to get the food, get food home and order was messed up, notfirst time this has happened. Read more
