Besides the service being great, we mentally noted not to come back to this place. We asked for well done staek and both my... husband and I had to not only send it back once because it was still bleeding but twice. We were going to order steak and Lobster but they were out of Lobster. We were then just going to order the largest sirloin... steak but they were also out of it as well. Thank goodness because the sirloin we ordered had a nasty taste to it, was about 1/8inch thick and had at least 30% fat on it. We arrived at 8pm, website said they were closing at 8:30pm. The staff was clearlyclosing up when we arrived. Sweeper was being used with a cord going across the floor to the salad bar. Floors were wet frommopping. I left there wishing I would have just gone to Burger King and saved $40! Very disappointed. Read more
Excellent food and service. My favorite from south Myrtle Beach up to Wilmington. The seafood dinners are awesome every time and... steaks are cooked to perfection however you order one. Fresh and delicious salad bar can?t be compared to any others. Read more
My friends and I had dinner here the last night at the beach. I got the seafood platter. I had everything grilled. Food was... delicious. They were willing to substitute more grilled shrimp instead crab cakes. I also had baked sweet potato. Very good.The service was good and not a long wait. Our meal was terrible. We have ate 20 years or more here. I do not like having the tip added to my bill. We always leave a good... tip. The salad bar has gone to nothing. I don't think we will be eating there again. They also have a grade of 93. I don'tlike to eat at restaurants that has this grade. Read more
Of the four orders, only one was finished, and it was rated "okay". My order of shrimp was flavorful, but greasy. The portion... was adequate. Slaw was creamy, but bland. Hush puppies were unobjectionable. The barbecue was reported to be greasy andflavorless. The "full rack" portion was smaller than one expected, given the description. The salad bar has few items for aproper salad: perhaps adequate on a "comes with the meal" basis, but not something worth paying for as a separate item. Read more
I took my parents here for dinner. Pros: Salad bar had fresh lettuce and a few other things on it that were ok. The amount of... traffic made it necessary to replenish it regularly. It is one trip only with a small plate. There was a senior citizen menuwhich did provide a discount but very over priced for the quality delivered. Cons: I ordered a filet medium rare with a bakedsweet potato. It came out well done. When she took it back, she took my sweet potato too. My next steak came out rare. I am notkidding. By the time she checked to see how it was, I was over the whole experience. My parents broiled seafood combos weremediocre at best. They had almost finished what they were going to eat so I just took it to go. The waitress was nice butoverworked and seemed like this was an everyday occurrence. No manager was called over, no discount offered and when I tried toeat my food later the cut of filet was marbled and full of fat. Very disappointing. For $80 I suggest eating somewhere else. The food is out of this world and cheaper prices than Charlotte. Not at all in keeping with other higher priced joints in the... Grand Strand, Jerome's has great prices and even greater tasting food. We went at dinner and ordered from the menu. I understandthey have a lunch buffet and we will definitely try that sometime. Jerome's makes their own dressings and sauces to delightfulperfection. I cannot stress the freshness and taste of the food enough. The portions are generous as well. Thank you, Jerome's.We will be back again and again. Read more
