My husband and I were at Dangerfields this past Friday night. Had a great dinner and I also had a smoked Old Fashioned cocktail,... very impressive and so good. Service was very good, even though it was busy, food was excellent. We went downstairs to the RumRoom, just for a quick walk thru, it looked awesome, lots of people and neat areas to sit. I loved the walleye salad with fruit & a pop over. It is nice to sit on the screened-in back deck with so much wild life.
Food was amazing!! We sat outside in the screened in deck....it was a little chilly and kinda cloudy...but it made for a nice... pre spooky ambiance with the view we had... We decided to go to Dangerfield?s for brunch which turned out to be quite the mistake. Upon arriving there was a line to be... seated which did not take long. We had a nice booth near the piano which the pianist played wonderful tunes. Probably thehighlight of the morning. Upon being seated we were welcomed to go to the brunch buffet. Approximately 50% of the items weregone, my wife ended up getting an omelet that was extremely oily and tasted more of an oil used for stir fry. The items in thebuffet were mostly fried, and 30 minutes later when the buffet was filled the items ranged from under cooked to over cooked andstale. The wait staff was not very attentive so getting condiments like ketchup or hot sauce never happened. Overall theatmosphere is good but the service and food were poor. Unfortunately we will not be back to this iconic restaurant unless wewent for a cocktail and to listen to the pianist. Read more

My friend and I went to Shakopee Place (Dangerfield) yesterday for lunch. Beautiful Renovations have been done! Our server Mona... was exceptionally good. She checked on us continuously making sure we had everything we needed. Took our photo, gave us a tourof the restaurant and most importantly made us feel like we were guests in her home!
