Placed an on-line order the day before Thanksgiving and received it on Saturday--very speedy service. The chocolate was... excellent and the box even included a personalized note of thanks from the owner. Read more

The ice cream and sea salt caramels were delicious but the hospitality from the employee or owner was rude and disappointing.... After hearing nothing but amazing things about this place we first asked if they sold cones and we were abruptly advised, ?yeawe do it?s on the board in front of you?. We were then rushed and told to leave their seating area as they closed in 10 minutes. The seating area is outside, and the only place to safely sit away from the busy traffic located on a main road. My wife and 4children under 10 years old left very disappointed, I can assure you I will not be repeat customers. Read more

A few weeks ago with my family in tow we entered the candy shop we bought candy, ice cream, and a few gifts we spent a little... $250.00, and were treated like dirt by the owner. He was rude and condescending towards us not my children but me and my cousinas a mater of fact very rude to my cousin. This was not the first time we have visited that location but it will be the last. I expect when I am in a shop like his we should be treated with respect and not the way we were **** on I will also like to saythat the amount of money we spent this last time is about the usual amount we have spent in the past. So we will not be openingthat door again. Upset customer. Read more

The ice cream here was good. However, we will not be returning (despite being in this area a lot) because we had a strange... experience that made us feel unwelcome. We were sitting on the porch with our 3-mo old and 3-yr old eating our ice cream, experiencing a rare moment of calm. An older gentleman in the parking lot with his dog commented that we looked like we werehaving fun and offered to take a picture of our family, which was nice since it's hard to get a shot with all 4 of us. I triedhanding him the phone from the porch (as we were far from the entrance) for the pic but was balancing a small baby and wasstruggling to reach him. We tried a few ways to hand-off the phone, but the baby was slipping, and so--to help me--the manstepped up on to the porch from the ground, holding the railings from the outside to grab the phone from me. Suddenly, the ownercame RUNNING out and pointing at the man aggressively, YELLING very loudly: "Hey! You!!! This isn't a jungle gym! You get downfrom there, and you act like an adult!!!" It was SO loud and so full-force and so demeaning to this kind guy who was just tryingto be helpful that it was entirely inappropriate--especially given the context. In fact, at first, we all thought it must be ajoke; they must know each other and were kidding around. But no, that's just the way the owner responded (in front of severalchildren and other guests on the porch, too.) And it's funny because we're working with our 3-year old about how you can't raiseyour voice at anyone just because you're frustrated with them etc. (Seems the owner is the one who needs to be told to "act likean adult.") Not only did the situation not really warrant saying anything at all (no less something so demeaning and SO loudly)cause the infraction lasted only 1.5 seconds, but if the owner had to say something, a simple, "Hey, sir--can you get down? Theporch is fragile/ I don't want anyone hurt or filing a lawsuit etc" in a normal tone/volume would have su Read more

Ran into this great little chocolate shop while exploring Vermont. I mean who doesn't like chocolate or icecream. Definitely... worth the stop. The shop smells so good and they have cute little gifts for purchase also. Plus a great selection of chocolate, fudge and icecream. If you're driving by stop on in you won't be disappointed! Read more
