We were in this restaurant in March and were very disappointed. However, they'd just opened and we thought we'd give them a... second chance. Last week we went back. We were equally disappointed, if not even more so. The food is extremely bland. Iordered the BBQ burrito - seems like it was smothered in 1/2 bottle of Baby Rays BBQ sauce. The meat inside had no Mexicanseasoning, it tasted like a bland pot roast. My spouse's burrito was the same, no flavor. We ordered an appetizer of Nachos,which came at the same time as the entrees did. Not only was that frustrating, the Nachos were wet and soggy. I tipped theplate up and within 2 minutes there was a puddle of water and grease at the bottom of the platter. The service was bad - 1server taking orders & serving for the entire place on a Friday evening. It was obvious we were finished, yet had wait over 10minutes to even ask for the check. I'm sad that it's like this, as we live in Seymour, and want to spend locally. We won't beback. Read more
What happened? The restaurant didn't open at 10 as it says on their menu. Neither did it open at 11, but at 11:15! The lettuce... on my plate had brown streaks all over like rust! The corn tortillas grew stale within seconds of unwrapping the foil. My Pepsitasted like colored carbinated water! There's no salt or pepper shakers. It was one disappointment after another. We came in for Easter and didn't really have anything planned. They put on an Easter egg hunt and our 1 year old loved it! Not... to mention the food was fantastic! They definitely brightened up our day! Read more
