4? because of the steak. More on that later. I have eaten here 3 times. We drive from Maryville to eat here. It's that... good. 1st visit had the BBQ bologna. Really good. 2nd visit I had the cow and bird. I think it's called that. Price wise it'sa deal and a half. 6oz beautifully fried boneless chicken breast. Finger licking!!! 9oz steak... 0 flavor. I mean 0. Slight searon it, but I swear it tasted like it was boiled. I ordered medium and it was medium-well. I can over look that. But it had 0flavor. I had to ask for 57 sauce. I haven't eat steak sauce in years. It didn't help this poor dead lump of meat. Themac-n-cheese was really good. Just get the chicken and Mac. You won't be disappointed. My wife had the fish n chips. She saidit was great. Golden and flaky. 3rd visit I had had the meatloaf... That was a really good meatloaf. It was juicy and tender. Alot of places over work the meat so it's dense and tough. This was loose and full of flavor. My wife had the burger. It was areally good juicy burger. The desserts... I haven't had a bad one yet. Pros: Really good prices, friendly staff, awesomechicken, great desserts, my wife said free popcorn.. ???? Cons: It's a drive unless you live there, the poor so called steak????. Read more
This place is the bomb!! I love to come here and eat, staff is friendly and prices are good. Country cooking that is top notch.... Great deserts, if you stop you have to get the bread pudding. Read more
Fantastic, family-owned spot in Seymour. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was phenomenal. I had the Fried Cod -... it was perfectly fried, had a ton of flavor, and the tartar sauce was, arguably, one of the best I've had. You definitely won'tbeat the prices, either. I'd pay them to cook for me before I'd spend time and the same money cooking at home any day. Read more
Can't recommend this place highly enough. We tried the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, French... onion soup, and caesar salad. It was all SO good. They had a Seymour Hot Chicken special that day that I'm still kicking myselffor not trying :( Hopefully next time! Read more

The service is wonderful! Karen is wonderful. This is a gem I hope more people find!! Food was perfect, best brocoli I've ever... had and the steak was delicious! We got the blackberry cobbler and the chocolate cheesecake. Simply wonderful! Read more
Hostess waiting at the entrance and got seated right away. Bench seat at table could have used a little more padding.. Wasn't... but a short wait before server came and got drink order. Took order and was brought out in a manageable time. The meatloafportion I got was plenty for 2 people, the pinto beans had a great taste, the mashed potatoes, corn & rolls filled me up. Read more
Great little diner. Passing through and tried this place. I had catfish and my wife had lasagna. Both were really good, and the... sweet potato casserole was fantastic. Definitely worth a stop. Also new management took over recently. Read more
