Went with my son last night, the burgers are cooked fresh and to order and were amazing. It?s great you can pick your meat(or... impossible burger) and choose a bun along with different toppings. While the burgers were great, the fries were nothing to runhome about. We had the cheese fries and just weren?t impressed. They have a nice sauce selection but IMO $1 is a bit much forthe serving size you are getting. Read more
After reading a review on top burger joints in New Jersey, Burger Barr was #1 in South Jersey. Finally made a trip here and it... was worth every penny. The food was excellent, the food portions were satisfying, & the chicken was marinated nicely. Thisestablishment checked all the boxes, from one of the owners handling the customers & helping with the food preparation to theother owner on the grill, customer service was excellent, the food was excellent, & the establishment was clean. I forgot to take a picture beforehand because I was mesmerized by how amazing it looked and needed it in my belly asap. I had... the wagyu burger with bacon and cooper sharp. I can honestly say that this was the best burger of my life. Nothing comes close.I?m new to the area and they just scored a customer for life. Great experience from the time I walked in until the last bite! First time here, customer service was excellent, order was ready... quickly and everything had a proper cook. We had the blend burger with sharp, house sauce on brioche, chicken sandwich withgarlic aioli, Mac bites and fries. Man the fries were excellent and everything was seasoned perfectly. My mom and I like trying new burger places from tik tok so when i saw this one i knew we had to go. We ordered 3 burgers and all... 3 of them were burned on the bottom. the photos you see are of both of my moms which are both burned. mine looked similar. also,she ordered mush rooms on one of her burgers (which is a dollar extra, by the way) and she got maybe 1 whole mushroom worth offood. this is even more frustrating because people who walked in after us were getting their burgers before us. this isn?t tosay that their food is bad- the cheese curds were phenomenal & we loved the pierogis, plus all the sauces were amazing. but topay so much and have the thing we were most excited to try wind up being burned is very disappointing. since we ordered takeoutyou will probably have a better experience if you dine in EDIT: since the owner provided me with some riveting insight, i justwant to add my own culinary expertise as a PAYING customer- a 13 dollar burger with a ?sear? should not be crispy. really wishthe trip was worth it Read more
Tucked away in a strip mall in Sewell, NJ, this burger joint is an absolute gem! I can see why so many people rave about this... place, and they deserve every compliment. They have all types of meat, and they also serve a fantastic Beyond Burger veggiepatty, one that doesn't end with a taste of synthetic meat.. In addition, their sides are different from the normal fries andonion rings.. They have fries, truffle fries, but they also have onion skins, which were thinly sliced onions, fried to a crispbut still flexible, served with a spicy aoili type dipping sauce which was phenomenal. The unique thing about Burger Barr istheir buns: they have multiple bun options, including a soft pretzel bun, which added a great unique flavor to my burger. Iordered a Veggie burger (Beyond Burger) with pretzel bun and onion skins.. The cheese was the default, as was the sauce (specialsauce). The burger was incredibly juicy, the sauce was made to perfection, the bun was clearly a pretzel but was fantastic anddefinitely the right choice. The onion skins were crisp and paired perfectly with the spicy sauce! I felt very full afterfinishing, and couldn't tell that my burger wasn't real meat.. I can only imagine how amazing their actual beef tastes! I'll becoming back here soon (with my wife, she was upset that she didn't get to experience it with me and super jealous after Irecounted the entire taste experience for her). Great burgers and fantastic, crispy fries served by really nice group of people working their butts off. I had the Kobe beef... burger with cheese, caramelized onions and fried onions. Really delicious. The fries were great. Super crunchy outside and softinside with a horseradish dip to add some kick. Highly recommended. Read more
