I have not ate at a Steak 'n Shake in years. I remember in the past it was always so good. This location was disgusting. The... food was cold the man who took my order was rude. This visit was on October 30th at around 6:30 p.m. They have a huge tip jar atthe counter where you give the order. I didn't give a tip for someone to take my order at a register. The older gentleman whoactually brought our food to the table I did give a tip to. The food was made incorrectly and cold. Read more
We usually like to go to this location and Steak 'n Shake in general. However, this visit was quite horrible. Walking in, we... smell something that is very close to a dumpster and it stayed the entire time we were there. We even noticed that some othercustomers were having to cover their noses and taking their food to go. We wanted to give it a try anyway (out of loyalty maybeor pure hunger at the time). We regretted it quite a bit. The burgers are not the same quality anymore. There were no moreseasoned fries. Our not so complicated order was incorrect and were dripping in grease. The food was never that healthy in thefirst place, but it made us feel sick after eating. Not recommending going here until they do a deep clean or make changes forthe better. Read more
Could use a good deep cleaning! We came in for a quick lunch and arrived at 11. Apparently the trash can wasn?t cleaned the... night or two before.. The floor,chairs, and tables were sticky. I couldn?t stomach to eat $35 wasted! Read more
Very clean and very fast. Went there for dinner on a Friday night and service was great.
Gave it 5 stars a year ago. Things have totally changed. Trust the locals reviews: theyre all similar. I always go at night omw... home from work... Bc I loved this place so much I kept going for a while even as my friends stopped going bc of cold old food &rude ppl ... butThe last 5 out of 5 times (literally) the food was cold. I've always gotten the same order and it gets worseand worse. The "carmelized onions" have gotten flat out disgusting and def not carmelized not fresh. Slimy. The food isconsistently cold. The portions and care they put into putting the food together is sad. I live paycheck to paycheck and when Ispend money on fast food its very well thought out. And they give you half portions of cold food thrown together by rude youngmen. One woman IS the friendliest and she barely says a word. Probably the worst Steak n? Shake I?ve even been to. No hostess, it?s just fast food now. You have to order at the counter and... seat yourself. We had our food before our drinks ever came. I has been awhile since I have been to this Steak 'n Shake. I recall previously, the food and service were great. This time,... both the food and service unfortunately were horrible. You now order from the counter and they will bring the food to you. Theorder was correct, but the food was cold. The restaurant was fairly busy, so I figured the meat and fries would have been hot.After sending the order back, my food was now incorrect. Sent it back again and it was corrected. With all this being said, Imay have caught them at a bad time. I might give this location another chance in the future. Read more
