Very good BBQ! Brisket was very good, tender and tasty with good smokiness! Pulled pork was good. German potato salad and baked... beans were amazing though, definitely get them. Better than the Cole slaw and Mac n cheese. Almond croissant was ok. Roastedbeets look good, next time. We took our food down the road and ate it at the cidery with a good view and tables. Read more
Great breakfast spot off the beaten path! The sandwiches and pastries are incredible and worth checking out when in the Finger... Lakes! The online ordering system was easy to use, and everything was prepared quickly. Read more
Oh my goodness, this place is great! A bit of a drive for us, but well worth it! Look carefully for this wonderful little place... or you might miss it when you drive by! Not a ton of parking, as the business seems to be on residential property (I could bewrong), but have seen people carefully park along the road. It's run by a local couple, and they do it all! Amazing artisanpastries and some of the best BBQ you'll find in the north! Brisket that practically melts in your mouth and awesome mac andcheese, amongst other BBQ meats and sides. There are a few plastic patio chairs outside. We ate in our vehicle. I'm sure theremay be some nice, scenic nearby places to possibly park and eat. They serve until they run out!! ???? Read more
Added to my list of things I didn?t expect from the Fingerlakes?very good smoked brisket and pulled pork. Get here early to try... the biscuits (we missed out) and give yourself enough time to enjoy your meal outside under the trees. The sandwich bread ishomemade and slices are generous. Try the cornbread too. Read more

Holy smokes! I?m super particular about my BBQ and since moving to NY over a year ago (from the south) I have yet to find... anywhere with decent Q, until now. My wife and I stopped in to get some road snacks before hitting the Cayuga lake wine trailand we are so glad that we did. We got a pound of brisket to take with us on the road to snack on between wineries. The brisketis the 2nd best I?ve ever had, Aaron Franklin?s is still 1st but not by much. The good news is that State Bakery + BBQ is a lotcloser to Saratoga Springs than Texas. I?ll be back for more brisket every chance I get. The pastries were also fantastic. Read more
