I love Popeyes chicken but the line is always long and it always takes 45 min to get from ordering to leaving. They always have... a wait while they make chicken. I have never dined in. Online it states Popeyes opened at 10 AM so I at 10 (after the app allows me to order) I order chicken to pick up for our family... reunion. I arrive at Popeyes about 10:15 and go through drive through to pick up my order. I tell the girl I have an onlineorder #62. She said ?We don?t open till 10:30. I tell her I ordered already. She said pull up in front and wait till 10:30. Ugh? but I say ok. I park and at 10:30 I drive around again and the same girl says ?We don?t open till 11!? I told her 10minutes ago she told me 10:30 and I have a family reunion to get to - so she tells me to pull up and I wait 15 more minutes formy order!!!! The sign out front had a 10 piece bundle deal I get to the order speaker and they tell me it only comes in dark meat, I agree... and get to the window and they tell me it is a 11 piece deal for $3 more I ask if the 11 piece is all dark meat because the addwas for both white and dark and the lady said all we have is dark meat so I ask about a deal being it was not as advertised andall I got was attitude. Placed a $70 order online at 10am for 10:50 pickup. When I arrived in the lobby at 10:50, all 3 employees were sitting at the... tables eating and my order was not ready. I had to tell them the name on the order 3 times before they found the order. Thenthey had to scramble to make it. I ended up being late to feed my crew. There was puddled water on the floor, the counter wasfilthy. A sign on the front counter about the printer was written by someone with no grammar skills. I had walked into thelobby through the front doors. As I was leaving and tried to open the door, I found they had locked it. So I crashed into thedoor with my food and almost dropped it. Had to unlock it to get out. After waiting 15 minutes for my food that had alreadybeen ordered an hour before, the chicken tenders were barely warm and I had to ask for the drink that came with my combomeal. My crew loves Popeyes but we will not do business with them anymore. This was ridiculous. The management of this locationneeds to do some serious work. A national chain should do a better job of making sure it's restaurant is staffed and trainedproperly. Read more
Absolutely disgusting. You would think since the ?homestyle? macaroni and cheese is a new item they would fix it or at least... make it fresh. It was oily, cold, there were huge chunks of cold greasy burnt cheese. Horrible. Plus It wouldn?t be Popeyes ifyou didn?t ask for mild and get spicy. Lesson learned from the Senatobia, Mississippi store. To think they quit selling theCajun rice in favor of trying new stuff out is ridiculous.
