The restaurant was filthy. I am surprised they haven't been shut down for health code reasons. There were tons of flies landing... on everything. The food was awful. The bacon looked half under cooked and half burned. The "scrambled" eggs were nothing morethan fried eggs chopped up. The toast had some sort of spread that looked like it was applied with a spatula. This particular Waffle House has always been our favorite. The staff is great. The orders come out right and got every time. And... you get a lot for your money. The only improvement on it would be to make it larger because it is really popular. Go figure. Read more
Visited 10/09/21 Normal Waffle House, our server was Kay who had been there since 2001. She was delightful and was featured as... employee of the month. Kay cleaned her tables while other servers left their tables dirty. When you have clean tables you getmore customers and more tips. I?d wait on Kay?s section. When our food arrived the waffles were undercooked as always. Had tosend back, 2nd time they were cooked properly. Had to send eggs back, cooks didn?t know how to cook eggs with runny yolk andfirm whites. Overall we don?t have high expectations when we choose to eat at Waffle House. Read more
