Good choice of food selections. Their specials are awesome. If you have not tried, you must. Don't get confused with normal... Indian Restorants, food is a bit different since their food is following southern Indian recipes. Read more

The waiter and the lady were disgusting and rude. We were treated as we were beggars. ???????????? In my entire life, I have... never being that humiliated. What were they thinking. Is being late for 15mins a crime? I would never go to that placeagain. We love trying new places and food. So, we went all the way from winnipeg with my friends to taste their food since thegoogle reviews were so good. We just left without any food. We went there with a reservation at 7. Due the babies and traffic,we were late and we even mentioned that when they called. As soon as we entered the shop they started shouting at us withouteven offering seating. We were so upset and even apologized. The lady and the man kept shouting even after the apology. Since wewere not that rude and they reserved the time for us, we decided to tolerate their cheap behavior. There were no even anycustomers in the entire restaurant. once the waiter came to take our order, he was again being very rude. We were so angry anddecided to leave. We end up taking away from Les saj. Read more
Review for ONAM SADYA event by Vinnies South Indian in Selkirk. This was my second experience trying their food and just like... the first time, we loved every bit of it. The service: The hosts were very warm and welcoming. We were immediately seated andthen served. They explained the history of the Onam festival and each dish and its significance. During the dinner, they keptchecking on us if we needed refills for anything. They were more than happy to answer any queries we had. The Food: The foodwas absolutely scrumptious. Everything including the pickles was house-made. Lots of vegetarian options and everything tastedunique and delicious. Some of my favourite items were : Karela chips, pineapple curry, mango curry, ginger yogurt, cucumberyogurt, green beans, plantain curry, the house-made pickles and chutney, rasam, yogurt drink, and the desserts. The verdict: Weloved it and will go back again. Read more
We enjoyed the buffet. More than enough vegetarian and vegan options. It was nice to see some dishes made with coconut milk... instead of moo-cow milk. Appam was a treat! Very friendly staff. Read more

A new South Indian restaurant that opened a few weeks ago. All staff....and chef were very friendly and helpful. We had the goat... curry and and shrimp curry combo dinners. Both were very taisty, I found that the shrimp curry combo was a bit salty. The SouthIndian desert made with chick peas and coconut was very good. Will definitely go back again. Read more
The flavours and quality of the food were average, and servings were small. Based on the ingredients and the prices we expected... large servings, but they were small. $65 without drinks fed two people. I love hot food but get hiccups from high spicefood(it's a thing). My partner loves incredibly spicy food and seeks it out regularly;. One of our dishes was SO spicy that Icouldn't eat more than half a bite, and it was so spicy that my fiancee had to mix it with 2/3 rice and still has to forceherself to eat it. Our other menu item was a perfect heat for me, but would have been too spicy for many others, yet neitheritem mentioned spice level in the menu. We also ordered a third item that had virtually no flavour. Read more
