Used to go here a lot for my whole family and than they raised their prices and now it?s almost $10 for a shake/tea that?s... mostly ice and water. We started going elsewhere for our health drinks since. It?s a shame because the workers are so sweet andthis place started to get a good rep in Selden until the price raise and now I know a handful of people who started going toother places because the drinks are over priced now. I saw an advertisement on Instagram about this place and saw that it?s close by. When walking in, the place is very neat and... colorful. The staff is very nice. Their products are high in calories because it has a lot of protein and no sugar! If youwanted to add on extra fiber, probiotics, etc it?s an extra fee from $1-4. Which isn?t too bad. Think of it like tropicalsmoothie; pretty much the same thing, but In my opinion, I feel that this place is more healthier. They have the same size 16oz cup for each drink. They sell shakes, teas, smoothies, coffee, snacks, etc. I went with the French Toast protein shake withan extra Fiber supplement. Mine came out to $8 which isn?t bad. And it tasted really good! You can definitely taste the cinnamonin there. It tastes like Cinnabon mixed with French toast. I added caramel and Oreo toppings to mine with no additional charge.They?re also giving out FREE school products by Energize Nutrition for anyone with a valid school ID (college students only). I love this tea place! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I got a the candy crush tea which i really liked. My friend got the... combo shake and tea. The oreo shake is super good. You can taste the protein powder aftertaste but it's not too bad. He also gotthe cherry limeade which i didn't care for much because i don't like lime. The menu is super long. Just went there today, the teas taste good and the staff is friendly. Disappointed that no where is it advertised that every... single product is made with Herbalife which is an MLM (multi level marketing) company. The staff does not disclose this and it?snot disclosed on signs or the menu. We didn?t realize this until after we already paid and the drinks were made and we saw thebrand on all the containers. This should really be disclosed. Not sure if we?ll be returning because of this. Read more
This is a front for Herbalife. Herbalife has requirements that your shop does not have ?Herbalife? anywhere in it's name or and... visible parts of the establishment. Herbalife takes advantage of prospective small businesses and slap a (City name) Nutritionon them. The expensive product you are buying looks pretty but offers no real nutritional value. Energize nutrition essentiallyonly uses 3 core ?nutritional? ingredients and other miscellaneous syrup additions or flavors like chocolate.
