At one time this was the go-to place for an event like a birthday or anniversary. The food was good (although limited and... expensive), the staff was always friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. We would drop $100 (for a couple) or more for a nicesupper several times a year. But starting a year or so ago, the management has publicly stated that they don't want localsanymore. I guess they don't need the business or are ashamed to show their guests visiting from afar the type of people whobuilt the place and kept it going for decades. We aren't going back, and I will also tell anyone who asks to avoid the place. I certainly wouldn't make a drive from a distance like Missoula or anywhere that far with the gamble that you'll be turned awayat the door. Too bad, but I consider this business closed. Read more

I used to come here often for drinks and dinner as I?m local, and it?s always great every time! However as of late, we?re... continuously turned away and told that the restaurant/bar is only open to lodge guests and they?re preparing for a busy weekend(mind you, I?ve tried coming in beginning of the week). It?s one of the few options us locals have to have quality cocktails andmeals - the last 3 times I?ve tried to come, this has been my experience and specially with Bonnie (the owner?s daughter). Great restaurant inside The Double Arrow Lodge at Seeley Lake! Bonnie was a great host! Amazing entrees and dessert with very... reasonable pricing! Great views and relaxing atmosphere. Try the soups, the steak and kale salad, the prime rib dip, the cremebrulee and the huckleberry cheesecake--all amazing. I plan to return here again to sample more in their menu! Read more
Every item we ate was delicious! The meats were juicy and tender. The veg was perfectly seasoned. The soup and chili were high... quality and very tasty. The wide variety of desserts are homemade, flawless, and beautiful. The service was friendly, polite,and prompt. The value is outstanding! I couldn't believe a group of 4 very hungry people had full gourmet meals on a whitetablecloth in front of a gorgeous view for $90 !!! We had a terrific experience and will definitely be back on future vacationsto Montana. Read more
