Their Marguerita pizza it?s NOT a Margherita pizza it?s a cheese pizza which is a completely different animal I?m very... disappointed they should label it as a cheese pizza , where as a Margherita pizza is a light , has a simple sauce and smallamount of fresh mozzarella melted on it , as well as fresh (uncooked) basil on top not basil that?s been cooked in the oven ,very HUGE disappointment . the fact that they don?t know what a margarita pizza actually is tells you that it?s not a realpizza place rotten jonnys sauce is made of chunky bitter tomatoes with sugar added , the crust is bland and tasteless and thecheese is not mozzarella, let alone fresh mozzarella, Rotten Jonny?s cheese it?s a mixture of multiple cheeses that are hard toidentify because they?re all mixed together, maybe even some parmigiana cheese, either way certainly not the classic margaritapizza that you?re looking for I?m glad Pisa Lisa is opening across the way they know what a margarita pizza is as does mostdecent pizza restaurants in the US , I added a photo of the pizza we got from rotten Johnny?s I tried to eat a few pieces bypeeling off the ridiculous amount of cheese that doesn?t belong on a margarita but I felt like the ingredients were low qualityand I didn?t want to get sick from it I added a 2nd photo of an actual Margherita pizza and what it should look like, I didmention it to one of the wait staff and the person at check out and I said this ? is your margarita pizza?? and I said yes isit not I said no it?s not a margarita and they said we?ve been making it that way forever which tells me the pizza has been sadforever certainly not New York or Italian style pizza. Please change your menu you?re advertising the wrong pizza verydisappointing, My husband had a white pie, His standards are way lower than mine (i?m from the East Coast he?s not ) and hesaid it was OK at best and he?ll eat just about anything. We came here after a hike and it was the perfect low key lunch spot. We arrived when they opened so there wasn?t a wait to be... seated. We sat outside in the shade & ordered two pizzas. Both were very fresh and delicious. Our waitress who I believe was theowner was super friendly. Read more

I was honestly disappointed. I'm giving this gluten free pizza 3 because the flavor of the crust was decent. But they didn't... have a veggie pizza with red sauce so I got the white which seems flavorless. Half of the veggies were put on after baking sothey immediately fell off when I picked up the slice. It was just weird. The crust was burnt around the edge. I've had betterfrozen pizza. The wings however were quite good and very large. Pizza was delicious. Service was great. We had a really friendly young man take our order who was awesome. But the hero of this... story is the young lady taking orders at the table next to us. She had an old couple that were horrible. The minute she took theorder they started asking what?s taking so long. Then they didn?t like the cook on the pizza then it wasn?t cut properly! Shesmiled her way through it all but I don?t know how. Rotten Johnny?s pizza was just okay. We ordered 2 gluten free pizza and 1 reg pizza,wings and roasted veggies. The veggies were... great the rest was just okay. We were hungry and waited 40min for a seat. The waiter never refilled our drinks and she almostknocked a outdoor heater on my children hitting it with a door. Read more

After a long day of hiking, was looking for some good pizza. Being from the east coast I have very high standards for pizza.... Dough was good: not too salty. Since this is a wood fired place, I would have liked a more cooler (a bit charred) crust similarto new haven style. Sauce was good. I prefer mine not too sweet or garlicky and rotten Johnny?s had a good balance. I orderedthe pancetta pie. Meat was of good quality but the caramelized onions could have cooked longer.
