I loved this place! Our reservation was at the bar which was not only a fun social situation, we got the best bartender ever... "Armondo" service at a very high level and margaritas as smooth as silk ! We ordered the Elote appetizer ,grilled corn, whiteMexican cheese, cilantro and lime, served with a crispy corn tortilla. I ordered smoked brisket enchiladas and they were melt inyour mouth good! Just a great all around experience and we ordered margaritas to go! Amazing food and margaritas and outstandingservice! We had heard great things about this restaurant prior to our trip and lucked up on a reservation which is nearly impossible to... do the week of so plan ahead! Atmosphere and service were a 10/10, my husband enjoyed the tamarind margarita and I enjoyed theirhibiscus mocktail. The food was good but I would not say the best Mexican we ever had. Some menu items felt forced to be"fancy". The shrimp were large and fresh however the corncake was very soggy, the brisket was juicy and tender, rice and beanswere great and the elote was as delicious as expected. The point where they lost us was desert, the corn cookie and agave icecream were great however the corn topping and pepitas gave it a forced feel. While we get they were sticking to the themekeeping it a little simpler would have won us over. We would return on another trip but likely ask for a few modifications. Read more

Late reservation for 2- 8:15. If you are just visiting the area I recommend making reservations 8-12 weeks in advance!... Especially if you want more time options. The salsa was full of flavor and hard to stop eating. The waiter recommended disheswere fantastic. Check out the drink specials for something a bit different. If we were local this would be a special go to forus and guests when in town. Service was wonderful. Cheers ???? Read more
