We are from Florida I wish this place was in my back yard!!! First time in Sedona I got 2 brisket tacos & daughter got 2 chicken... tacos And they knocked them out of the park!! What a pleasant surprise! This was right across where we were staying, and delighted we chanced upon this gem. The awards they... have received are well-deserved (best restaurant 2020-2022, best butger, best BBQ, best casual dining). We were greeted by suchamazing staff, super friendly. We ordered the cheeseburger (sooo good!), and the small platter (yum!). The food was phenomenal,but it is secondary to the great staff. Swing by when you are around the area. Thank me later. Everything was over the top delicious! We had the ribs and pulled pork sandwich and both were plentiful and tasty. However the... onion rings topped everything and were out of this world delicious. I have never had onion rings so tasty and I would returnagain just for these! Be sure to use the dipping sauce! We sat outside and the weather cooperated giving us a beautiful view ofthe red rocks. Fantastic food!! We wanted hamburgers after playing at Slide Rock. Our hotel recommended Colts and glad they did. The burgers... are very flavorful and juicy. The kids burger was as large as the adults but without all the toppings. The sweet potato frieswere delicious and not overly seasoned. The next morning we weren?t very hungry for breakfast. But after walking 20 min rt to acoffee shop that happened to be closed, we were hungrier and ended back up at Colts. The pancakes are huge and tasty. The baconwas absolutely delicious? smoked and thick. I only wish I had got the brisket hash with my meal. Thankfully that other coffeeshop was closed! Colts is hands down our fav now. I'm new to the area and have been dying to find a great bbq spot. The hunt is over. Colt Grill BBQ is superb!! The pork sandwich... and ribs are incredible!! To make it a 'meal,' you can choose beans and cheese bread. The baked beans were very good. Theservice and atmosphere were great!! I can't wait to go back and work through everything on the menu... Got the recommendation from a local and boy where we glad we did! The barbecue was some of the best I've ever had and I've had... really good barbecue in Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, pretty much all over the south. THE SAUCES! You have a fantasticselection of sauces. So much flavor choices. The barbecue pulled pork came on a delicious bruschetta bun with Colt slaw. It wasperfect. BBQ pork and the smoked chicken wrap were excellent. The rest of the smoked meat was average to below average. Kids chicken... fingers were nearly inedible. Sweet potato fries are good, but the regular ones are not good. Prices are reasonable for thearea. There meat sampler is worth ordering. There is a nice patio area with decent views. There is no table service here, butthey still ask you to tip at least 18% (which seems like overkill if there's no table service). Drink options and prices werereasonable. Staff was friendly. First time ever being here but would highly recommend. When you first walk up to doors there are menus, you grab one and walk... inside to order at counter. Once order is placed, someone will call your number and you pick it up off the line at side of room.You seat yourselve where ever! Food was prepared quickly. The atmosphere was really chill.
