Stunning hidden gem restaurant. Extremely clean, updated, and upscale choice in this area. Absolutely gorgeous laid back... environment. Food is nothing less than excellent, with fresh ingredients and a wonderful variety to choose from. The entirestaff is clearly highly skilled in their specific areas. After 2 days of eating almost exclusively convenience store food, I was craving something fresh and healthy on my multi-day bike... ride. No.5 Bistro & Bar did not disappoint. I wasn't setting my expectations high, but my meal was absolutely top-notch. Iordered the salmon bowl with a side of french fries, and honestly, it was some of the best salmon I've had at a restaurant. Verytender with a slight crust; and the lemon added a very nice zing. Contrasting grilled salmon and lemon with cool pepper,couscous, cucumber and tomato complemented each other perfectly. And the fries punched far above their weight - crispy yettender on the inside. 11/05/22 had a reservation at 7 were seated promptly they weren't very busy. The drinks and appetizers were delicious. Then our... main course arrived and everything on my plate was cold. 38$ ribeye mind you. I spoke with the waitress she said she would seewhat the manager wanted to do. I was told I could give it to my food to my dog and that I received a discount. When my 120$check arrived they took 12$ off my 38$ steak mind you that I didn't eat. Need less to say I won't be coming back here. It's ashame really because this really was my favorite restaurant in town. As you can see by my picture my compound butter didn't evenmelt on my steak.
