I got the 7.99 chicken fried steak. Smaller portions and that was fine with me. The mash potatoes and green beans weren't real... hot but he steak was fresh n hot. Gwen was my server she was great! I use to love Bob Evans.... however here lately, every single time we have ordered our food it's incorrect or cold or both. I... just don't understand how they screw up our order every time!?! Especially when they go over the order with a highlighter on thereceipt and check off each item. Just doesn't make sense! We order about 1-2 times a week, and always spend up to $70sometimes. Service was great food was awful. Fried chicken breast were cooked so long that it was dry and tough, mac and cheese was at a... temp like it came out of the fridge. Constantly was hearing the waiting staff telling the cooks that food was cold or steakswere raw. Only giving 2 stars because waitress was insistant on me telling the manager about the issues and my meal was takenoff the bill, just added that portion to the tip not the servers fault that the cooks cant do their job correctly. If i could do 0 stars i would. Went in for breakfast this morning. Locals have talked good about this restaurant, so we tried... it. Sadly very disappointed. Was very dirty, caked dust on the light fixtures and around the booths. Those should be wiped dailyand looked like it had been months since they have been cleaned. Service was horrible, slow inattentive, not present server. Hadto ask and wait our entire visit for one coffee refill. Food was not good, hashbrowns not done and toast dripping in butter. Nota picky person at all but honestly, the restaurant was dirty, food sucked, Service sucked. Do better. Read more
Somewhat of a wait to be seated. Was cleaner than last time there. The front door windows should have been cleaned, and paying... attention to them throughout the day would be more pleasant. Restroom should be checked more frequently (tp out in one stall). Food was good,, real good. The chatter amongst the wait staff behind the counter was annoying, louder than it should be, andmight consider taking it down a notch. But other than that, server was very friendly and prompt. Bob Evans was great today. We tried both appetizers and I was very impressed w/ the bacon. Our food was also delicious. I only... wish I could get hot coffee over ice instead of cold brew. I prefer the flavor of hot coffee than cold brew, but enjoy my coffeeiced. Hot coffee normally has free refills and the cold brew doesn't. Read more
I love their Pot Roast you can get it as a dinner or a sandwich, you can have the sandwich your way, it comes with 2... different cheeses and onions, but I like it just meat n gravy, get any side, mashed, French fries or whatever you want.
