Great neighborhood spot. Had the prime rib, yummy. The dining room is a bit bright but I can see how it works for older folks.... Lol plus the dinner menu is an easy to read font. The lounge is a hidden treasure. Large with a cool atmosphere. Good cocktailstoo! Read more

We were the first group of customers, through the door, when it opened as Sir Wedgwood in the 60s. Still coming back. Got the... same thing, my usual. Teriyaki steak dinner. Loaded baked potato. Salad. Iceberg lettuce instead of romaine. Cold andcrispy. Steak perfect. Med rare. Potato completely cooked even though it was just after opening for the day. Barbara gaveEXCELLENT service. Thanks! Worth braving the hour drive in traffic to get there. Predictably wonderful experience. Read more

try to get one of the old timers as your server and your experience will be infinitely improved. i ordered the prime rib dip... medium rare and it arrived 25 minutes later served well done but when i caught the attention of a seasoned server there sheimmediately educated me and suggested the french dip. this delicious fare arrived perfectly mid rare with piles of meat andmelted swiss cheese on a buttery bun with a side of au jus. the horseradish elevated an already sublime sandwich. of the sideoptions i chose the clam chowder. i wasn't expecting bit cuts of spicy carrot but it really complemented the clams. there wassome grittiness on the last bite. the atmosphere is as everyone else says so nothing to add there. my dear friend and i leftstuffed and happy. I wish I took a picture of the steak, (prime Rib) my partner had. It was delicious, soft to the cut and bite and definitely... worth the price. But leftovers will do....it's even more amazing the next day. Drinks: Don't be judgemental like me because Iusually don't like to buy mixed drinks at restaurants because they are weak sauce usually, BUT, definitely not this place. I hadthe bullet Rye mixed drink and everytime I took a sip, I questioned my inability to avoid a nap on the ridehome????????????????, have a drink, it's definitely worth it. TREAT YOURSELF. I am not the biggest steak person and honestly Ihave been craving lasagna for months, so I ordered it when I saw it on the menu. It's a broiler, it was definitely worth $16. Iloved the surprise mushrooms in it, but it was not the most amazing lasagna I HAVE EVER HAD but it worked for what I neededthen. I wasn't the biggest fan of beef in lasagna but ONLY because I always eat it with Italian sausage. The crowd is older andI appreciated that. Definitely a place where people are not on their phones, believe it or not, which makes it intimate. Read more

Had a very enjoyable dinner here. The zing wings were great, nice and juicy and not too dry. The onion rings were really crispy... and freshly fried. A must order dish I say. The NY steaks and the Fillet Mignon were good too. One of the more affordable steakplace in Seattle. A definite worthy visit in a rustic setting. Highly recommended! Read more
