Reviews for U:Don in Seattle, WA
Nothing beats a hot broth udon noodles on a cold night. This place was pretty nice. I got the tan tan with extra meat. The spice... level was perfect. My wife got the kamo nanban which was also pretty good. We also took some tofu and broccoli tempura. Read more
Good price and generous size. Clean and cooks were very friendly and nice. Soup for the Kitsuke udon was very plain. Tempura... was tasteless too. Meat for Katsu was way too thick and flavorless. Everything tasted fresh, but just lacks the traditionalJapanese taste. Lacking dashi, probably. i would eat the curry udon again here though. It was tasty. Hope they can hire aJapanese cook and improve the taste of their dishes. Read more
Yum! Decent udon noodle shop in Capitol Hill. Walking distance to Cal Anderson Park. I tried the Salmon Cream Udon, which is a... Fall/Winter Special. A small was enough for me and my boyfriend to share as a mid-day snack. It came with grated ginger andikura! The broth was creamy and flavorful, and not too thick. It had a nice soupy consistency. The salmon was too overcooked forme unfortunately, but the dish overall was still delicious. Read more
This place was freaking delicious. I annihilated this udon like an underfed vampire. I inhaled the food so quickly I was left... wondering if it was all just a wild blissful fever dream. a good selection of tempura as well. Plenty of vegetarian options aswell! Read more

Good udon bowls. The noodles are freshly cooked, the broths are flavorful and there are quite a few veggie options. The udon... bowls are priced very well for the quantity. Recommend the kitsune udon soup bowl, it's well balanced. The Tempura pricing isinconsistent based on quantity. The food alone may not warrant a repeat visit, however the food + price + quick servicecombination is definitely worth coming often. Read more
Nice udon and friendly service. You can choose the size of your udon base but the regular portion is quite a lot to me.
We got the pork belly soup udon with prawn tempura and chicken karage. The only thing good was the pork belly. The pork belly... was tender and tasty. The udon was overcooked and didn't taste as good as frozen grocery store udon. The tempura and karagemust've been sitting out for hours because it was cold. Spam musubi was ok but drenched in sesame oil. Read more
