A group of us were looking forward to grabbing some appetizers and dessert after a long day attending a conference in a nearby... hotel. The food and service was great, but were disappointed when a few of us wanted to order the flan martini and they wereout. That?s my only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Read more

Happy hour small plates were amazingly tasty! Beer and cocktail good value too. Service was very friendly and quick. Will... definitely be back, not least for the seafood poutine and oysters! Read more

We are staying in the hotel in the same building and came down for happy hour. Seafood was pretty good. Oysters on happy hour... menu were half price. Seafood chowder was really creamy. Oyster tacos were so-so. Fish and chips were great, but French frieswere so small. Read more

Stumbled across this restaurant on our way back to our hotel. The food was delicious. The burger was beautifully cooked and the... way it was presented allowed me to put in the filling that I wanted and not overload it as other places do. The fish was wellcooked and tasty too. The jury is out on the desert though. The staff were friendly and helpful. In a city where you can waitover 2 hours for a table in one restaurant, this is definitely a good place to go. Read more

Had live music which was a bit loud to have a conversation, but was enjoyable. Someone was shucking oysters at what looked like... hostess stand which was very odd. Everyone who entered tried to check in there. Staff greeted and was average friendly, nothing special. Food took about 30 min from order to table. Seafood chowder was very hot, a bit too salty, but was good. Tacos were small and needed cream of sorts but also good. Seafood poutine was also hot and a bit too salty. 15% mandatorygratuity. Overall decent, we would return. Read more

I?ll start by saying Alex, the bartender was great! And he?s the only reason for the 2 stars. Tidal was the only place near the... surrounding hotels that was open past 9:30, so when I wanted a late dinner - I walked here from the Regency. Ordered the fishand chips and? what a joke! The amount of fish was comical, and the fries were shoestring and way over seasoned. The dippingsauce was tasty though. Also tried to the $22 lobster Mac and what a travesty. Al dente noodles, more of a roux instead of acheese sauce and hardly any lobster. See for yourself? I was in town visiting and it?s unlikely I?d ever return if I were tocome back one day. Except for drinks! Read more

I come here at Elaia spa often so I noticed new restaurant on first floor. I told my husband we have to check it out but... unfortunately it wasn't that great. We came on January 1st after holidays and place wasn't so busy. I ordered salted SeaGaritawhich was absolutely unique and delicious and thats it! The rest was very bland. Scallops tasted cheewy and felt like its beenfrozen and fake grill marks made it even worse. It wasn't grilled at all and it didn't tasted like grilled either. Cup ofchowder was mediocre, I tasted better in Seattle. Oyster tacos were OK but again very bland. The worst was the dessert that wasso hard that we coudn't cut it. Tasted very old and it was definitely frozen or refrigerated for too long because it felt likeold fridge taste. Also pistachio crust had very weird taste even if it would be fresh I dont think flavors would be on pointeither. We showed waitress the cake how hard it was and she removed it from the check because we didnt want to eat it - so hardand tasted old. Very overpriced dinner we had. I dont think we will come back if food wouldn't improve. They also addautomatically 15% to your check for service like in other restaurants at the hotel, so please consider that Read more

This is an absolutely stellar restaurant located in the first level of Hyatt at Olive 8. The service during my first visit was... fantastic. The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable with the menu. I was very happy with the halibut, clams, fries, and beeftacos. The white Russian (cocktail) had room for improvement, but other cocktails were good. The general quality and atmosphereof TIDAL is beautiful which makes it a perfect spot for date nights. I'll be back. Read more
