Expensive but worth it. I had El Presidente and it was insanely good. The bread had a good crunch and the pulled port was smoky... and fatty and everything I wanted. Glad I didn?t eat it in the car because it was a complete mess in the best way. Plus theyhave Guanciale, which I can?t find anywhere else. Will definitely be back. Read more
If you plan on eating at The Swinery I recommend you clear your schedule for the rest of the day. The only reasonable thing to... do after eating one of these sandwiches is to take a nap. I wish I was kidding. They are dangerously indulgent & rich, withincredible flavor from the smoky, well seasoned, and high quality meat. The sandwiches might actually be underpriced for theportion size & calorie density. If you?ve never been, you have to try this place. Lady Jaye gets a lot of hype for being atrendy butcher & BBQ restaurant, but The Swinery has been doing it a lot longer & doesn?t get nearly enough respect after allthese years.
