I visited The Rendezvous for a private event on a weekend night and the staff of the venue were an absolute pleasure! Bartenders... have generous pours, the house cocktails are fun and interesting, and the bartenders worked very quickly to manage a huge numberof guests that formed over the course of the night. The venue itself is really cool, with multiple rooms and 3 total floors.The basement has a prohibition era vibe with its own bar while the main floor has a primary seating area and a more secludedroom with a stage. I was feeling very sad and down. Going on my way to be an even sadder sadboy but then I discovered a duck sadder than me. I gave... the duck my jacket in this cold, rainy weather. I'm still sad but at least the duck is less sad & less cold. I then made arendezvous with my younger teenage self at Rendezvous Turns out the duck works at Rendezvous. It introduced me to John theBartender. He provided nice service and conversation. I became less sad. The duck is also related to Donald Duck and his otherdad Donald Trump. I hope you reflect on this story and give this bar a try especially when John is working but also to nevergive up on your dreams. As dark & somber things can be, it will get better. Comedy did not have enough seats and drinks are not served in the comedy area. Just feels rude getting up.
Great venue. I had no idea this place hosted such great artists. My s.o. and I had a wonderful time listening to up and... coming, super talented singers. The venue is very private, the ambiance feels cozy and romantic. The bartender was great, Igot a paloma with mezcal and I really enjoyed it. Very nice. Read more
Great place to use as a venue to hold group events. Good drink selections. The mac and cheese was actually better than I had... expected. The pancetta was a great addition to the pasta! Calamari was good too. Not overcooked, greasy, nor and rubbery atall. Read more
Simple bar that?s kind of divey. If you?re looking for a holdover spot while waiting for a reservation, I actually think this is... a really great option. It?s quiet enough to have a conversation and the drinks don?t break the bank. I would recommend d forsomeone looking to have a drink and catchup. I wouldn?t recommend this spot if you?re looking to rage or for this to be the solepurpose of the outing. I think it compliments the night?s plans. Read more
