Rick runs the stick, Ellen runs the floor. This bar is the passion project of a cool couple who?s actually stuck around. Good... drinks, calm soothing ambiance, half an explorers club type bar and half a chilled out sports bar - this place is a unicorn, areal institution. Serious regular potential. Don?t miss it, you won?t find a place like this every day. Read more

Each beer and cider was really good and high quality. Food options are enough, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious.... The owners are super friendly and are knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We also really appreciated the option to sitoutside and enjoy the Summer evening. Read more

The Noble Fir is a place you can go and not worry about your order. Every beer and every wine choice is excellent?and Rich and... Ellen are happy to make a recommendation. Small snacks are a great pairing for a lazy afternoon and a couple of drinks, whilechatting with the folks at the bar. One of our favorite local spots! Read more

How have I not left a review here yet? I've been coming to The Noble Fir for nearly a decade and I hesitate to call it a bar.... When I want a fantastic cider or beer, a quiet and mature ambience to spend time with my partner or a friend, nothing iscomparable to The Noble Fir. Everything else seems loud, dirty, or immature in comparison. You want a damn good cider and anactual conversation? Swing by The Noble Fir. Read more

It?s a really beautifully decorated (sports)bar, with a good selection of beers and wines. The service is good and it?s a... pleasure to have an afternoon hang. The snacks menu is nice but it?s very overpriced! We had a tiny block of cheese, a fewslices of salami and some artichokes for $20. Read more

Quiet and relaxing bar, perfect for meeting friends and having conversation. Unlike a lot of the more trendy places in the old... Ballard area, this place keeps the menu simple and high quality. We had a cider flight and cheese/meat plate. Salami and cheesewere both very good if not standard. Cider flight was plain but a good intro to ciders. I would?ve preferred one of the cidersto be a little weirder to introduce some variety into the mix. Read more

Had an engaging conversation with the owners about life and travel. Special people, who love their bar, care about serving the... best beers and know their trade. More than anything made us feel welcome and at home. If we lived in Seattle, this would easilybe our local. Read more
