I came here for weekend brunch. I got the roasted salmon from the special which was pretty good. The salmon tasted well with the... farro whose acidity balanced the roasted salmon well. Our order took a lot of time to come. Our server said it is due to thesalmon which seemed odd considering it is in the specials. The taste I feel made up for the wait. My wife got the mushroomomelette with sourdough toast. The mushroom was very good and the overall dish was pretty tasty appetizing. We ended with somebanana pancakes which came with jam, berries and 2 meringue. The pan cake tasted well but was slightly burnt at the edges whichcontributed to a bitter after taste in some bites. The wait time for 2 people was about 15 mins and service was pretty great. Read more

A great place for breakfast. Food was delicious and served quickly. Staff were friendly and helpful. Menu choices were plentiful... and reasonably priced. Based in the Palihotel and close to the Pike Place Market. Definitely worth a visit Read more

I came here a few times and had very mixed experiences. One day had a really delicious brunch here. I split eggs benedict and an... omelette with mushrooms and ricotta, both of which were delicious. The coffee was high quality and really well brewed. I cameback another time and the service was painfully slow and my poached egg was so overcooked it was basically hard boiled Read more

I walked past this place a few times and of course, noticed the name. Today, to avoid the crazy Pike Street Market crowds, I... went in for lunch. I’m really glad I did. The service was fast, attentive, and friendly. They bring a whole pitcher of waterto the table, a big plus. The menu is just right, not huge, but not tiny either.I had the turkey melt on sourdough. It wasdelicious. (Having fish and chips every day, I opted for a salad instead of fries.) The prices were great. The space was clean, relaxed, and comfortable. Read more

Very good drip coffee. I got the H&H breakfast and it was satisfactory. I ordered the bacon crispy and it came out perfect!... Potatoes were okay but could have had more flavor. Toast could have used butter, average bread. Large servings. VERY cuteatmosphere and our waitress was lovely. Read more

Very interesting place. Simple, understated look, but amazing food and service. We were seated close to the kitchen counter,... which was great, as we saw the chef cooking his delicious creations. Our waitress Roshandra, was unlike any waitress we’d everseen. Not only that she was attending to several tables without missing a beat, but she was also helping customers at theespresso bar for takeout. Doing it all with a smile. Their waffles were the best as was everything else. The unusual feature ofthis restaurant is an additional library type room, with a fireplace. Read more

Lovely brunch spot near Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle - situated right inside the hotel, it has that western parlor... decor and vibe to it, but modernized and sleek furniture to accompany them with. Food is great, overall very well seasoned andnot too strong. Their strawberry jams are homemade, the omelet had herbs that I personally found it to be too strong, but somewould like it. Waffles came out soggy as it was drenched in syrup, but otherwise fried chicken was really well made, crisp andtender meat inside. Strongly recommend trying their cappuccino, and their lemonade to drink down any heavy aftertaste frombutter and grease. Fries accompanied with their sandwiches (we tried grilled cheese) were nothing special, grilled cheese wastasty as the cheese used were Tillamook and Beecher’s. Parking is practically non-existent, either street or paid garageparking nearby. Recommend getting here by foot or transit if you live near by, otherwise plan to park far and walk here. Read more

Restaurant is a bit snooty for what it is. Atmosphere is warm, staff were not. We ordered biscuits and gravy which were fresh,... but likely not what you expect. Good, fluffy biscuits with a smooth brown gravy over top rather than the classic southern take.Gravy lacks character which is a bummer since that should be the hero of the meal. Price was too high for what we ordered. Goodspot for quick food though, and the rest of the menu looked interesting. Has a little coffee spot inside as well. Read more
