Amazing food and service. This restaurant should be on everyone's Pike Place Market list.

I said this in a previous review but do Seattle-ites lack taste buds???? THIRD restaurant with over 4.5 stars that was insanely... mediocre. Coffee was $6 for like half a cup. I asked for my eggs poached medium and I?ve never seen a runnier egg. Thehollandaise was very tangy with no flavour profile to speak of, the toast was burnt, the ?roasted potatoes? were barelyroasted. Maybe I?m just spoiled in Vancouver but you can throw a rock there and hit ten better breakfast spots. Read more

We were staying across the street and saw their happy hour menu and decided to go for drinks because the interior looked so... cute. We got the Big Richard Energy (their version of a margarita with pink guava) and the Mint Manilow Mule cocktails and bothof them were incredible. Easily the best margarita I?ve ever had, so much so that we came back for another three rounds an hourlater haha. Our server was lovely too. I always enjoy coming here for brunch! The decor is very unique, service is great and trust me, the beignets are to die for -... best caramel sauce ever! Portions are nice, even as the price is a little steep - but as it is located in the heart of themarket, I guess that's part of it. Extra pleasant points if you can get to sit in the patio! I found this place on a "hidden gems" page on IG and decided to check it out during my solo trip to Seattle. This is a really... cute spot (as the pictures show) if you like a low-light (indoors) cabaret style ambiance. I had an OpenTable reservation andcame about an hour before brunch was supposed to end on a somewhat rainy Sunday afternoon (holiday weekend too). It was quietwhich was honestly perfect for me dining alone. I was seated immediately in one of the cute booths facing the aestheticallypleasing bartop area and ordered one of the colorful fancy drinks, a delicious purple gin based drink called the "SultrySunrise", a lavender lemonade with pea flower infused gin, lemon, simple, and Scrappy's Lavender Bitters. YUMMY! With my drink Iordered the brunch item "Prosciutto Benedict", a classic benedict with sliced prosciutto, sauteed spinach, and organic poachedeggs on an English muffin with lemon hollandaise and a side of the soup du jour which was some sort of warm tortilla cornchowder type of soup. Delicious!!!! Jess (hostess) and Rue (server) were wonderful. Jess so kindly offered to show mearound/have me come for a show although unfortunately I was on a time crunch/short trip; otherwise, I would have loved to stayfor the drag show going on that evening. The show was amazing! Super fun, top notch talent. Master bartenders, classy servers and Some of the best food I?ve ever... devoured. I got the steak, superb. My table also got the salmon, duck and kale Caesar salad which I blessed enough to sample;all unbelievably delicious. For desert I got the white chocolate crème brûlée and damn near fainted with bliss. 10 stars!!!! Read more
