Updated 2022: My favorite neighborhood bar. This is the kind of place you can start up a convo at the bar and anyone around... feels comfortable to join in. Neighbors meeting neighbors and friends. Just drinks and convo.I dig the warm greetings and easyfeeling here. Perfect place to catch up and to meet new folk. The space is updated with new fixtures and seating. A small, intimate lounge with friendly staff and great cocktails. The tap list is small, but high quality. The staff were very... friendly and the patrons all seemed like regulars. I had an excellent time and will definitely be returning in the future. Read more
Very neighborhood type bar with a ton of regulars. Most people are friendly and easy to chat with. Decent place for some groups,... but more of a place to relax at the bar and have a casual conversation. Also plays most Seattle sports games on the one TV whenthey're open. The background music is AWESOME. Lots of indie and old school punk music. Diverse crowd and everyone is welcome.Definitely not a hipster joint, although there are a few. New, clean, well designed and fun. Monday night was low key. There was one screen above the bar, and a wide variety of liquors.... Classy, confident, articulate and friendly bartender makes me want to return. Read more
