Reviews for The Blue Glass in Seattle, WA
Had delicious cocktails (rye old fashioneds) and food here this past week. The Blue Glass came as a recommendation and didn't... disappoint. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the staff was kind of cranky. Not once did they smile or reallyshow they cared about us as customers even though we were sitting right at the bar in front of them and tried to open a dialogwith them. Don't get me wrong, the service was fine, it just could have been a lot friendlier. Give it try for yourself. Read more
I love this little spot - service is friendly, ambiance is intimate and the food is always good. I hadn't been there in awhile... and I noticed that they've updated their menu to show gluten free options, which were numerous. Our waitress was awesome andmade sure all my questions were answered. I learned that they usually have one frier they try to keep gluten free, but with newstaff or a busy night, it can be a crapshoot, so if that concerns you, always ask (apparently, this is super common, so italways pays to check). I lucked out and the fryer was clean but they did offer to pan sear the brussel sprouts (delish, btw)instead of fry. They went the extra mile to make sure that we were happy and cared for and I really enjoyed my meal and theoutdoor seating. Always a solid and delicious choice! Read more

We all liked own picked???? I boxed up my leftover forlater, but I forgot to take it from the table....???? Read more
First, service was excellent. My girlfriend and I shared several items and the waitress made sure things came out one at a time... so we could take our time and enjoy the food and drinks. The salad and seared ahi were excellent. However the fish part of thefish and chips was extremely disappointing. The breading was like wet paper when the dish came out, appearing as if it had beenmicrowaved. It's a shame because it was good fish. Read more
Excellent food at this neighborhood restaurant. The brussel sprouts, the short ribs and the risotto were all fabulous. Great... service and reasonable prices. Good wines by the glass. Read more

The creme brulee l'orangewas the perfect mix of crunch and creamy, again with the flavors on point!! I don't care if I live an hour away, I'll comeback!!! Read more
Had a great breakfast this morning. The Blue Glass does a very nice job with creating breakfast foods where they are paying... attention to flavor. There is a standard breakfast, but a small menu and focus on flavors, i would absolutely recommend thisspot. I believe they just started doing brunch... so before it gets Seattle busy, go now. The food, service, and ambience were all enormously disappointing: the short ribs were dry and chewy, the ?broccolini? was... actually frozen broccoli florets (microwaved to mushiness), the sauce with the cauliflower starter was refrigeration-level cold, and even the truffle fries were over-salted to the point we couldn?t eat them. We would?ve told our server this, except he wasnever around. He came by only once - to ask us to remind him what we ordered. Never checked on how our food was, never filledour water, and he took so long coming around that after 20min we got up, walked inside, and paid at the bar. The ambiance was afinal disappointment. It?s not the nicest block in town, and you?ll find more homeless folks than you may have bargained for. Read more
