Reviews for Thai Siam Restaurant in Seattle, WA
Been coming to this restaurant for years. It is my preferred Thai place in all of Seattle. All their dishes are freshly prepared... to order, including their Fresh Spring Rolls (a lot of places make it in advance and wrap them in plastic wrap until they areordered, leaving the rice sheet gummy and chewy when served). I've never had a bad dish, ever. The staff is welcoming andfriendly while the service is fast. They serve the standard fare of Thai food but if you're adventurous, consider trying theirunique dishes on the last page. Also a word of warning: when asked about how spicy you would like something, their "hot" is nojoke. If it's your first time at the restaurant, order their medium and see how you do. Read more
Love this place. We had red curry, pad see iew, honey cashew prawns and thai tea. All was delicious!!! Beware of spicy level... though. Level 2 is already little too hot for me as an asian. Will go with level 1 or 2 next time. Read more
Not recommend for people that are trying to manage their sugar intake. We ordered soup, fresh rolls, crispy chicken and drinks.... Everything was a bit too sweet for my taste (for fresh rolls peanut sauce) Read more
A nice cozy restaurant. Enjoyed the food here. The food was delicious and great choices. We were surprised by the spice level.... We mentioned 3, apparently 4 is the highest level here which we were not aware.Suggestion here is if the scale is mentionedduring taking the order, we will be in a position to make the right choice. Had Tom Yum Gai soup, it was great, Satay wasawesome. The noodles we had were delicious but very spicy which was unexpected. Read more
First visit with family and friends for weekend dinner. Service- quick.. But the server gave all the dishes at same time, so we... were not able to eat all at the time. Food became cold after we finished soup and appetizer. 2/5 for service. Food- Delicioussatay, and soup. Other dishes were average. My friends dish was extremely spicy ???? for just 3 spice range. We were shocked atthe spice level. So be careful when ordering spice level. 3/5 for food. Fodder quantity: 4/5 worth for the price ????????. Read more
One of the best Thai foods I have had in Ballard.. We had the "Bird of Paradise" and the "baby corn and chicken". The portions... were good for more than a meal There was a huge selection on the menu and desert. There is wine and beer The service was oneof the best. There is some parking. But street parking was close enough Read more
I know people don't trust five-star reviews. I get it. I was driving by today, hungry, and just because, I pulled in.... Absolutely excellent. Maybe one of the best Thai dishes I've had in Seattle. The very kind owner and I chatted about all thingsThailand for fifteen minutes, sharing mutual stories of our times there. You should check it out. The menu is huge - everythingfor anyone, kids too! BTW, I like spicy, he talked me out of three stars, but I could have gone there. Two stars is USA spicy. Read more
The food here is delicious, it reminds us of the many times we were in thailand! here?s what we had: - pad see ew shrimp (4x... spicy): SO SPICY but it feels good, we were swearing through every delicious mouthful - eggplant: pretty good! - goong tod:shrimp and veggie tempura. the batter is a little thick, not as light and crispy as the japanese tempura. not too bad the padsee ew was the star of the evening. the staff were great, they kept coming by to refill our glasses of water and to check in ifwe?re okay with the spice level of the food ???? we?ll definitely be back!
