Wonderful place for a lunch all by myself! The JoJo en Teishoku ?? was really good! The beef was tender and flavorful with the... sauce, and came in a good portion. The other small dishes were also good and subtle in their flavors. Nothing was overcooked, and everything was just delicious. The place is close to the Lake union and fun to walk over. Read more

This place is good! The ambience is casual but cosy. They have dishes on their menu that you don't get at other Japanese... restaurants in the vicinity. The flavors are very mild, but worth trying. The vegetarian croquettes we're good, they could havegiven more ponzu on the side. The kakiage rice bowl was delicious, perfect large onion and veggie tempura with a mild mushroomscallion broth. Extremely mild flavor. Prices can be lower for the ambience and quantity. Read more

Nice place that doesn't close early as the other places in Seattle. I had a Ramen soup and it was good. The service is... good. The floor was really sticky, I would expect a restaurant to be more clean. Read more

I had the lighter broth and it was near perfection. It didn’t leave weight in your mouth but yet was so full of complex... flavors. I haven’t had a ramen broth like this, without a doubt unique and in a class of their own. Beautiful yellow color. Ipaired it with miso which was perfection. The noodles was top notch, had a good texture and tasted fresh. The only disappointingcomponent was the topping, which was bare and minimal. It left me wanting more, as if the bowl was incomplete. It tore at myheart. Would had love it give it a perfect score if it wasn’t for this component. All else was reasonable. Thought the waitstaff was caring to their patrons. Venue is roomy. Read more

Good portion with affordable price for the sushi omakase. However, the flavor and freshness level might not fit everyone’s... need ???? The salmon is pretty good, but I would say the tuna/roll is a little stale. The rice of the sushi are not soured andwarm, and quite easy to fall apart, which is quite unexpected to me. The service is really good though, and the price andportion is still as expected. Might come back for ramen next time! Read more

Love the kind hospitality and delicious Japanese food we discovered at Teinei! Japanese owners make fresh noodles here! We dug... into the Shoyu ramen, Mabo Ramen, Tan Tan noodles with flavorful broth and good portions! Definitely recommend those and theappetizers we had — karaage and chicken thigh yakitori were well seasoned! We also sampled the curry as a combo to our ramenand it was perfect — well seasoned, a touch of sweet and savory. They treated my kiddo pretty well by giving him kid utensilsso it’s family friendly ???? will definitely come back Read more
