Had the honor of taking one my friends to eat dinner here tonight and the food was so good. She had the oxtails and I had the... jerk chicken. The meat was so juicy and tender and literally falling off the bone. Our server was very professional and evenmade us a special passion fruit juice beverage. I forgot to get his name but I hope he still there the next time I go! Read more

Would highly recommend the jerk. The atmosphere was great, so too was the customer service, didn't have to wait too long for my... meal so that was great. Parking is street side, didn't have much trouble finding one. Read more

The physical location could use a cleaning, but the food was delicious. My family is from Jamaica- the jerk chicken entree and... beef patty were satisfying. The portions are large. They prices are reasonable. I will go back again the next time I'm inSeattle. Read more

I didn't expect to come all the way up to Seattle and get a taste of home. I have no complaints. I ordered takeout so I didn't... dine in, but I did pick up my order. As soon as I walked in I noticed the different flags of countries of the Caribbean liningthe walls. I was so proud to see my Haitian flag up on the podium as well. The food itself was so good. It tasted like home. Iwill definitely come back the next time I'm in Seattle. Read more

For the price, they give you a lot of food like REAL CARIBBEANS DO! This is the chicken curry. It is spicy so if you don’t... like spicy, i wouldn’t order. I ordered it through Uber Eats. I must say the flavor was on point very authentic curry taste. The meat you can tell was marinating in the curry sauce and slowed cooked for flavor! ????????I love rice and peas with thecurry gravy. This is the best Caribbean food I’ve had in Seattle… the other Caribbean restaurants need to take notes!!???????????????????????? Read more

Bottom line first: authentic home style Jamaican cuisine nestled away in a Capitol Hill shack that doubles as a lounge at night.... ???????? Haven't had much Jamaican cuisine in my life, but this restaurant has met many of my expectations. Stewed meats, spices, salt cod, and fried treats were all had and enjoyed. We started with the appetizer sampler. The jerk wings wereseasoned perfectly and falling off the bone. The salt cod fritters were delicious and filled with a variety of well pairedspices. The the festival were an unusual piece of sweet fried dough I had yet to have experienced, but better suited for adessert. The plantains were very traditional. For entrees we had both the curry chicken and oxtails. The curry chicken was slowbraised in a wonderful blend of curried spices and falling off the bone. The oxtails were just what I had desired of Jamaicanisland cuisine. Fatty stewed meat in a delectable brown sauce served with rice and red peas - all of which worked very welltogether for a comfortable home style meal. Read more
