Terrible owner that doesn't communicate, respect or honor his bar managers decisions. Was hired to barback at an agreed upon... rate with tips. Finish first shift to find out tip percentage doesn't include credit cards which was 90%+ of the nightstotal. On top of this the owner refused to honor the hourly rate the bar manager offered me during the interview and when toldhe should contact the bar manager he refused to pay me altogether. Luckily the bar manager understands what wage theft is andpaid me himself. Go frequent any other bar or restaurant in Ballard. I'd recommend Matador for good Mexican food and tractortavern for live music(aka real country sometimes). Read more

Great bar layout with sweet patio space and open kitchen. Beautiful wood bar, it's obvious they spent time and money designing... the whole joint. Good beer selection and food menu- we only had deviled eggs which are great but they have good organic andvegetarian options . Went to watch a sports game and it was perfect!
