One of the most unpretentious sushi spots you could come across, this just might be Queen Anne's best kept secret. I order their... chirashi, saba bento, and rolls religiously, and am delighted each time by the quality and selection of fish. The chirashi'sscallops are sweet, and worth savoring. I always appreciate the warm greeting you receive upon entering, and how quickly thefood's prepared. Read more

Great food and good value! So excited to have found this gem which serves authentic Japanese cuisine with a personal touch! The... staff were incredibly attentive and even gave me a complimentary wakame tofu when they noticed I had to wait awhile for my foodas the lone sushi chef made the various orders. Will definitely be back! Read more

The exterior of Shiki almost put us off, but I'm glad we went in. Small place, so call to do a reservation if you can. Warm... greeting for us and we were right to our table. Simple menu, but we came for the sushi. Got some hand rolls, sashimi, andregular rolls. All were delicious. Also got some karaage and that was good. As you can see from the photos, excellentpresentation as well. We'll definitely be back here! Read more

A family-run restaurant with many regulars. You can tell it's been an institution in this neighborhood for awhile. Service was... good, but I waited a very long time for my chirashi don. I appreciate how the sushi chef took his time and was very methodical, but I'm not sure if the output matched the time it took. Overall the meal was very filling and the sashimi was fresh. Thewasabi was so good it tasted like it was handmade. The price was reasonable. However some fish slices were not cut finely, andrough on the edges. I also found a strand of hair that quickly made me lose my appetite. I didn't make a fuss about it becauseit seemed like an exceptional accident, with so many regular customers. Anyway it was good, but I wouldn't be back because ofhow long it took to get my food. Read more

The food was excellent. Don't let the antique atmosphere fool you. Highly recommend the chirashi bowl. The rice was done just... right, and the ginger was amazing as well. No need to say much about the sashimi on top, either. Except for the fact thateverything was in excellent condition. Read more

Amazing little Japanese place. Very quiet and authentic. For the $50 I spent it was worth it. I was so full I had to take home a... Togo box! I'll be back... probably today ???? Read more
