Where do I even begin… the amazing host, perfectly made drinks, or the incredible food at 7am?? I came here with some friends... just to watch the World Cup game early in morning and was absolutely blown away with the friendliness of the owner andbartender. Then we ordered drinks and food. They were to die for. Seriously. Probably the best sandwich I’ve had in my life.Could not recommend the Monte Cristo more. Overall pure excellence. Will be coming again!! Read more

Shawn O'Donnell's is by far my favorite place in the Fremont neighborhood! Not only do they have an awesome bar for drinks and... serve delicious food, they have the BEST atmosphere. The welcoming and incredibly fun ambience is immediately felt walkingthrough the doors - all kudos to the staff for fostering that. The Tuesday Trivia nights and live music on Wed/Thursdaysenhances the atmosphere even more! This place is absolutely worth stopping by and becoming a regular of - it's always a greattime! Go go go!! Very nice and cozy place. When were there there was a live music which we enjoyed! Not sure if they always have fun. The outdoor... area is nice and good. The shepherd pie was really good. The fish and chips was ok but the house sauce wasn’t the best.Overall it was a really good experience and good food. Enjoy! Read more

Great service and surprisingly good food! Nachos comes with potato chips and it tasted delicious. Shepherd pie was great and the... portion felt generous. Beef stew was a bit too salty but overall, the experience was great. I would come back here. Read more

Great happy hour! HH is daily from 3-6pm and will save you a few bucks. We got the pub burger and shepherds pie, both were... great! The only con was the cleanliness, we sat next to the window inside and there were quite a few dead bugs in the window. Weactually killed a bug that was crawling on the ketchup bottle as well. Next time we will sit elsewhere! Read more

It's hard to accurately describe the level of community and service O'Donnell Fremont represents. Of the literal hundreds of... restaurants and bars I've been to, nowhere has ever made me feel more at home. In specific the barman Johnny lights up the wholeplace like a beacon. He made a point of introducing himself by name and committed mine to memory on the spot, was friendly andattentive, and also observant of everyone on the level that a good friend would be, making conversation, tending refills or foodservice, etc etc. Every person I saw pass through the door was addressed by name as well and that really says something aboutthe value put into each person the man saw. Pints of Guinness and other beers poured with the highest degree of care and time, which to a beer enthusiast like myself it makes all the difference in flavor. The place just seems like a slice of home, whetherit be the family eating dinner with their toddler as casually as if they had made dinner themselves or the patrons coming for apint and some of the most delicious shepherds pie (served proper with lamb as opposed to cottage pie with beef) that you'll findanywhere. Everyone had the vibe of belonging and were addressed as such. The only complaint I can possibly muster is that I live45 minutes away and can't pop in multiple times a week. I suppose that will save my wallet in the long run though. Read more

This is one of my new favorite restaurants in Seattle. Great beer and great food. The corned beef was perfect, and the poutine... is the best I've found so far in Seattle. All of this in a cozy, unassuming setting with great service. 10/10 will be goingback. Read more

My family is from Northern Ireland and this place reminds me of my roots! The atmosphere is friendly and cozy and the food... excellent. I bring my elderly friend here every few weeks and Johnny welcomes us like we are family and remembers our favoritedishes. The shepherd’s pie is mouthwatering and the bread pudding superb! Thanks for everything Johnny! Best Irish restaurantaround, hands down! Read more
