Reviews for Rain Cafe Belltown in Seattle, WA
Not too busy - able to eat in or take out. Food & drink ready fast. Ordered lemon pepper chicken, which had a lot for the price.... Refreshing drink - iced rose latte. Decent space to sit inside. Will visit again to try other food and drink options. Openmidday till evening and saw a few people sitting there working on laptops (may have wifi). Update- great mango tea and porkkastu (can't remember name). Read more
Amazing food that our family loved!! They have a very diverse menu though everything we tried was delicious. The only thing that... takes away a star is that the staff member was a little moody when we went which wasn’t too great. He still made the food wellthough and gave us everything we asked for in the end. Read more
Spacious, well-lit, and clean cafe with delicious pork bowls. The boba tea isn't amazing but it's very affordably priced.
Cute little cafe right in the heart of Belltown! I got the salted egg popcorn chicken and the jasmine milk tea. I really liked... the popcorn chicken - It was crispy and savory, and the salted egg yolk mixed in gave it a unique flavor beyond just salty andpeppery. The jasmine milk tea was pretty strong and not too sweet (I got 75% sugar). My fiancé also enjoyed his pork rice bowl, although he mentioned that the marinated egg in it was much too salty. Overall, it was a nice dinner and we are looking forwardto trying other things on the menu! Read more
This is a very cute cafe and I highly recommend checking it out! The food is really good as well their boba tea. The location is... very peaceful considering it’s in the middle of busy Seattle. The tables are large so it’s perfect for a larger group ofpeople or for a late afternoon study session. Overall great place! Read more
Wow, wow, wow. Had my first sushi burrito here. The rainbow with cooked salmon. I HIGHLY recommend trying it! Their boba is also... very good with dairy free options and custom sweetness levels. We also got the royal california roll that was huge! It's prettyspicy, so if you like spicy, you will LOVE it! If you're not into spicy, for the roll and burrito, definitely let them knowbefore you order to make it not spicy. The lady working up front was such a sweetheart. Great service, wonderful experience. Will be back! Read more
Truffle fries were excellent and pork rice bowl had great flavor. I’m personally not super keen on fatty meat, and the pork... had quite a lot of fat on it, but otherwise I really enjoyed the dish. The cafe is very clean and spacious, and there is acharming little nook with books. Coffee was fine but nothing special. Will come back for food again and will try smoothies andspecialty drinks next time. Read more
I was craving some popcorn chicken and I found Rain Cafe nearby. Regardless of the bad reviews and low scores, I still gave it a... shot. I ordered the popcorn chicken and I was very disappointed... The popcorn chicken was deep fried and the meat are so dryand with way too many breadcrumbs that it hurt my throat to chew and swallow. The worst part is, they gave me so many smallpieces that I have never seen any restaurant/cafe would do that... Did I order popcorn chicken or breadcrumbs??? (seepictures) While I was writing this review, I saw someone leave this comment previously 'honestly they looked and tasted likethey were mass produced and frozen before arriving at the restaurant. ' Yes, I totally agree on this... I am very disappointedwith my visit to Rain Cafe. I know they have another location near Asian Family Market, so I assume they definitely do well sothey had another store right? Another thing that got me a little suspicious was, the store hang a 'soft opening' sign this yearfrom May/June, but people left reviews from 2020... Anyway, they can definitely do a lot better.
