Reviews for Preserve and Gather in Seattle, WA
This is my absolute favourite cafe in the Seattle area! Super tasty cold brew, well curated treats and eats. Also a great... ethos. Read more
The stars are for Good coffee, vibes and location. My breakfast biscuit sandwich was disappointing. The ham was too sweet and... the biscuit was undercooked and lacked salt. Read more
Preserve and Gather was fine. Not great, not terrible hence the 3 stars. It has a nice ambiance, a couple places to sit inside... and out (though out is quite noisy as its on a busy street), beautiful display of pastries. The coffee was fine, the food wasalright. There is no wifi and everything is served on/in disposable dishware (compostable but still not the aesthetic I wasexpecting). This might just be a transition from Covid times but it felt like the cafe does not encourage people to staylong. This is probably a good neighborhood spot for a quick coffee and bite if you live nearby but not something to go out ofthe way for. Read more
Beautiful, tastefully decorated, light-filled space with friendly staff and great coffee. Lovely pastries, too, with delicious... fruit jam/marmalade options for the scones. Read more
No wifi. Amazing baked goods. The quality of each ingredient in the food and coffee is obviously quite high. Only about 8 table... seating areas, and all hard/stiff chairs or stools. Not too loungy or comfy, but the food is out of this world. And the musicslaps ???? Read more
Finally I found another wonderful mocha nearby my place! I was not expected ham & jam biscuit could be that good too! I always... love thick ham and dislike jam. Anyway I love their biscuit with thick ham and apple butter. Read more
I revisited Preserve and Gather a few weeks ago. While dinning in is still not an option (and I'm cool with that), customers are... now allowed to order inside. This means I can take a closer and better look at their pastries?great variety and baked in house!Their most popular Ham & Jam Breakfast Biscuit is indeed a delight?diced instead of sliced ham and jam instead of cheese givethe classic breakfast sandwich an interesting texture and taste. There were also quite a few items that I have never seenelsewhere so I tried Tahini Panellet (loved it) and Leckerli (not a fan). The latte I got was decent, like I remembered fromlast time. I had to double check the $4.23 price which already includes both tax and tip. Same for the pastries. That's gotta bethe best coffee (and breakfast sandwich) one can have in Seattle for that price. I am giving this place 1 stars purely because of the unexplainable pricing on an Americano. I get inflation makes things more... expensive but $4.30 for a couple shots and some hot water is criminal. Especially when a Latte is only .36 cents more at $4.66.What a rip off! Go here for overpriced coffee and baked goods! Read more
