HORRIBLE experience trying to order a pick up in their website. Made an order on their website in which the transaction went... through and charged were made on my credit card. However upon arriving to pick up the food, they mentioned that they did notreceived any order online. The employee was not helpful at all and insisted that she can’t do anything about it although Ishowed them the order receipt and order number. Took me 30mins to try to figure things out to no avail. She mentioned that theowner will try to call me to resolve this but still have not called me back. Will not return ever Read more

Really rude staff member today. I was excited to check this spot out and grab a tea because they marketed Equal Exchange, a... great brand. There was no one in the cafe/shop and I asked what type of green tea they had. The employee looked at me withmuch frustration, pointed at the far wall, and said over there in a mean tone. I decided I would rather get a tea at Targetnext door. Please try to be nice to people/customers going forward. Read more

Went here for lunch and thought the 3-roll lunch special was exceptional value. The sushi is flavorful (spicy salmon roll was... actually spicy, unagi roll well seasoned) and I appreciated the generous portions of wasabi and ginger. It was also a lot offood - could have shared and gotten two solid lighter lunches out of it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Read more

This review is for the sushi - I ordered the inside out roll (which was supposed to be spicy tuna and spicy Mayo) and the spicy... salmon roll, and nothing was even a tiny bit spicy or flavorful. What even more strange is that it didn’t have any taste. Itdidn’t taste bad, but it tasted like nothing. You can’t taste any salt or vinegar in the rice, the raw fish didn’t evenhave a taste. I mixed the entire serving size of wasabi with one small soy sauce packed and even the wasabi mixture wasn’tspicy. Its weird. The place is clean and modern, and the people are nice, but I’m so shocked how bland it was. The only thingthat had flavor was the ginger on the side Read more

Always wanted to try musashi but luckily they have this small location nearby! I was able to park at the target parking lot for... free (20minutes). The service was good and the food and portion size was excellent. One roll is perfect for one person! Lots offlavor and good meat to rice ratio. I would come back! Read more

Looks like the roll prices have increased to 8.95 from a flat $8. I had a mid-work day sushi craving (when do I not?) that I... knew Musashi Newsroom could help me quash. I got the InsideOut and Extravaganza. Rolls were big and so was the fish inside andfresh ingredients. The Extravaganza was meh, reminded me of a Kimbap, but the inside out was pretty bomb, I'd get that again.Server chef girl was friendly and I hope they can be consistent with rolls like she makes 'em cuz I see other yelpers post picsfrom here where the rolls look like all the rice. Ordered 4 rolls and they were all amazing! Was shocked at the price of these rolls! $8.50 per roll, these would easily be $15... plus per roll anywhere else in Seattle! (Also, sorry, I had started eating before I snapped a photo) Read more

I cannot believe I walked past this place a few times totally unaware of what was inside. One of my clients told me about the... delicious sushi and coffee spot that was next to Ballard Target. Checked out Musashi’s today and OMG! Cannot believe howinexpensive and delicious it is. I got all of this for $20 ???? BTW that’s 2 rolls!!! Needless to say, I’ll be back! Read more
