Yes!!!!! I'll say it again for the people in the back- yyyyaaaaeeeesaassssss! So cute, so good! Yeeeaaaassss! It's that time of... the year again where restaurant week reigns supreme, and this time they didn't miss! I had their restaurant week special whichwas a salmon box. Everything was perfect, especially the salmon belly, grilled salmon and salmon sashimi! Everything was freshtasty and out of this world. Despite this location doubling as a bakery, they know how to make sushi and prepare wonderfulpastries. The matcha cheesecake was superb with plenty of fresh matcha powder on top and mung beans on the bottom. This waseasily my favorite matcha desert ever! While they don't have indoor seating, I saw two small tables outside. I'll be going backand happy freaking restaurant week! Read more

I've only ordered the pastries from Setsuko at Modern Japanese Cuisine through Uber eats. Packaging was well done and on time.... If you are used with Fuji Bakery and Tokara maybe this place will disappoint you. I believe they have a chance to improvebecause some items were really well executed such as the cheesecake and yuzu panacotta. Meanwhile the custard cream, flourlesscake and mochi were flavorless and mochi with totally bad texture. I would still check the sushi place because the pictures arepromising. Read more

at $30 all in for a chirashi bowl that is 80% the portion of fremont bowl, I am not excited about the quality trade off that... might be present. Read more

They are now open for take out only. All dinner menu is additional $1. Unagi don was very good. Curry was weak and tasteless.... Miso soup too. Panna cotta was good. Pudding was spongy and not smooth at all. Read more

Originally went in to get desserts but the food menu was too tempting. Slid in a minute before happy hour ended, very nice of... them to give us the happy hour deals. Got an assorted sashimi salad with fresh fish and a savory dressing on it, 3pc hamachicarpaccio with some yuzu was very refreshing, and the mini salmon Don had a decent amount of fresh salmon along with warm rice.In the end treated ourselves with salmon Toro nigiri, which was phenomenally buttery and rich. Got desserts: rich creamy custardpudding with a delicious caramel sauce, and a matcha tiramisu with azuki on the bottom. Also got a strawberry mochi daifuku togo, which was devoured in an instant. Will definitely come again! Cute restaurant vibes and good staff. However definitelyunderstaffed and service was a bit slow. Read more

Cozy, clean atmosphere. Good food and delicious desserts! Very nice neighborhood restaurant. I like their Poke bowl, Salmon... teriyaki set, some happy hour menus. Their desserts are superb. Everything is tasty without feeling sugar heavy. Highlyrecommend!! Family friendly, street parking only. Went back to my favorite restaurant. We had Spicy poke bowl, curry, Kimonoroll and desserts. Spicy poke bowl was not spicy enough for my taste but it was good because I can taste each ingredients. Itwas not too saucy nor salty like other places that serve poke. Really good. Curry is also very good here. It comes with asmall salad and potato salad. One of my favorite dessert is Yuzu panna cotta which has a delicate flavor with a hint of yuzu. Not too heavy. Read more
